Sounds like we take two backs. Some are saying one big back and one smaller quicker. Hill, Burnette out there as big backs and Hood as smaller.
Tough decisions. Burnette just the clips I saw, he is good, but his offensive line was blowing some holes, no one touches him til he is well beyond scrimmage line, so good but how much is the line.
Hood on the other hand looks like he was running backfield Auburn's line at the beginning of last season. Every time he gets the ball he is staring at three guys already two yards in the background. He has some very good vision and very fast.
Hill, that guy is a beast, I mean a beast. Great hands too. But not the fastest guy in the room, some of it may have been the long runs after having to break six tackles.
If you have to chose who you got of the two.

Don’t think we absolutely need a big and small combo but chances are it works out that way.
Kevin Riley would be my #1. Don’t think we’d turn away a Burnette and Hill class either.

You might be right but wouldn’t surprise me if it was Joseph Phillips either. He is gonna blow up the rankings. The staff knows we need to get this kid in the boat for the Jack position.

That might be Corch, Pink has been raving about this kid from the getgo. Seems he is now getting a lot of attention from some of our neighbors as well now, get him committed and stop listening to the sirens (Odysseus not ambulance).
Id say a kid that can play wide receiver probably has enough speed to be an edge lol.
He really takes nice angles to the ball not just randomly rushing and getting tangled up, something I hope our linebackers are taught this spring as well.

Freeze is making some podcast rounds today.
Said they’ll be looking for a WR, LB, QB, and inside lineman still in the portal. He suggested those needs could change depending on spring ball

Jonesy I know its the age of NIL...but are you working as this kid's agent? Just kiddin, he is very good, I just left him out cause I dnidt think we have a chance. Does Bama have some higher on their list or is he a legit target for them?

Bama has offered and we’ve kinda talked about the advantages they would have in his recruitment but their top guys right now are Taylor Tatum, Stacy Gage, and Jerrick Gibson with Riley somewhere toward the back of that mix.

Well he said the most important factor, without a doubt, for a QB was accuracy, then leadership, arm strength, and running ability was number four on the list.
All the coaches will get a very good look at Robby and Holden come next week, I think it will be Holden coming out of spring and I dont think it will even be close.
We have enough running backs for the backfield, we need an accurate passer FIRST, running is a nice to have.

Good listen and he of course gets it. He knows recruiting is key whether it’s HS, or portal transfers. He’s got the work ethic to compete too. Hell yeah Hugh!

6’8 OT Eagen Boyer set an OV to Auburn mid June. He was at the big junior day and plans to be back in March or April too
