That’s because they know what happens when both teams are on equal footing. Besides 2001, I can’t remember Uat beating an equal or better Auburn team.

Auburn is in the same recruiting hotbed that Bama and UGA are. Within driving distance (~5hrs) from Atlanta, Birmingham, Florida and even Louisiana, Tennessee, South/North Carolina. We might be in the best spot location wise for recruiting just cause Florida is close.
Difference is that we haven't had our shite together for the past 5-6 years. Hugh Freeze coming in and recruiting well is going to have us the talent, and that's something to worry about for these teams.

If they’re on equal footing it has unraveled. They‘ve been so far ahead of everyone else in the SEC in recruiting that it’s hard for them to lose because of the talent disparity.
If they’re signing similar classes to the top 6-7 teams in the SEC they’re going to rarely win championships anymore.

KJ also has an OV to FSU 5 days before ESD. Maybe Hugh can convince him to cancel.

From a stalker on Twitter that got absolutely roasted by fellow Auburn fans, it appears KJ Bolden had unfollowed FSU on his IG and followed a bunch of Auburn players/recruits. It went public, and he ended up following FSU again.

That's the thing that has tempered my expectations on Bolden. They get the last word with him. They know what they've got to match or beat.
