I think we are at a pretty fluid spot on scholarship numbers. We will try to get some guys we want in the portal and make the numbers work somehow.
The thing is we will lose people probably every portal opening and possibly gain some every opening. If you are a junior and aren’t in the 2 deep you probably should look around. With the coaching change we had it may benefit us in holding some guys.

Blackerby hinted that someone may be hitting the portal today that wouldn’t be a good one to lose.
It was during the Collins commitment podcast so don’t think that would be Mba reference. Wonder if someone like Landon King or Brooks. Hopefully not Alston or Camden Brown

Other than our OL transfers who just got here and a couple freshman.. I'm not sure there is anyone on the team that we would miss if they left. That's just me being very blunt about it. Almost everyone on this roster is replaceable.
I think Finley and Gilbert might be next to leave, at least that's what jhead hinted at.

We knew this was coming fellas. If you are going to be a Junior and you arent in the two deep, better to look around because the recruiting is only going to get better and your odds of playing time decreasing with every high school signing class, much less transfers.

So are we expecting anymore players to hit the portal soon or are we going to see some more players hit the portal when the semester ends? I figured we would’ve seen more players hit the portal than we have.

Portal closes before the semester ends. And we have to see some more attrition due to the scholarship limit

We’re at 84 right now counting the guys not yet on campus. So scholarship limit isn’t really an issue yet.

Well, he doesn’t have to wonder anymore. Currently, he’s 3rd string behind Ashford and Geriner. When Brown comes in, he may be 4th string. I’m sure Freeze has told him to look around. The problem is, will anyone be willing to take him off of our hands?

Finleys GF was at Auburn and moved back to Louisanna.. I would bet my life Finley is just waiting to graduate and transfer back home to be with her and play locally.
No new names yet for transfers.. I think most are still expecting some WRs, DL, and S's to leave though.
