Injuries. They didn't play many games at all in 2020 due to covid I believe (I could be wrong about that). And his #1 WR Drake London went down for the season in like the 3rd game this past year with a broken ankle. Slovis and London were unstoppable until the injury.

I haven’t seen Harrison Bailey mentioned. He was one on the top 2020 QB commits. Looks like he has 4 seasons of eligibility remaining. Any reason why we shouldn’t offer this kid?

Coaches are probably on the phone every day trying to buy a team right now.
Not sure if the coaches are contacting them but have people who are in both circles contacting them, i.e. Player or excoach contacting. That way no infraction because the coach didn't do it.

I also heard that it is down to Pitt and Notre Dame for Slovis. Could be announced this week.
