You are really being rough on a 2nd year QB.
Not saying he will be best QB coming out of spring.
But he’s not had a whole year in Harsin’s system. Can he fix his weaknesses like Bo improved too under Harsin?

I'm sorry... I just don't see these physical talents. Not trying to be a smartass. Is it just that he's big? I've heard he has a big arm, but I've seen nothing to support that it is anything special. It can't be mobility... looks like my grandma running in tar.

quote:Fair assesment. What I see is a guy that can't process what's going on because everything is happening too fast for Finley to process. Working with a QB guru will be of benefit, but he needs reps.
He just needs to work with a QB guru this summer. I have seen some nice things out of him. Touch is his biggest issue. It is early to throw the towel in on him, IMO. This doesn't mean we don't need a good QB transfer. TJ is one play away from us being in a worse spot than we were this season.
Then there is D. Davis. Apparently looks average in drills but when the lights come on he's on point. Harsin has even said so.

quote:You saw him in spring be productive in scrimmages (Davis). You probably saw the shock and awe press conference where Harsin mentioned Davis' gamesmanship. I'll say this, I believe that if Davis doesn't produce here, he'll go somewhere else and produce. I feel the same way about Tennison. That's the only player thus far in the portal I think we'll regret losing IMO.
So, he’s basically the polar opposite of Jeremy Johnson.

He won’t be able to upgrade his athletic ability (this is genetics) + Harsin is looking for a transfer QB for a reason.

When will we get a transfer QB? When lord, when?

If there is atop level QB in the portal who's GF is at Auburn, and he knows our whole OL is returning, then we might have a chance.

Wyoming qb just entered portal. ??
Posted on 12/22/21 at 6:13 pm to AUarch79
Let me explain this like Lanier would…from a scale of 1 to 100 Cam being 1 and Jeremy Johnson being 100
Nick Marshall: 10
Nix: 20
Slovis: 49
SW 50
Finley 65
Barrett Trotter 80
Wyoming guy 90 unless he is interested in Auburn.

There were several digs in there.

Would’ve been better if you said 1 Cam and 100 Frazier

Connor “Balzak” is going to the portal. Lots of SEC experience, stats not very impressive.
