Hoke confirming also. This is good news and hopefully it works out at Auburn for him. But with as wishy washy as this kid seems to be with flirting with the portal, I'd have some good backup plans in place.

For those interested, I saw 247 post this..
There are now 3,508 FBS players in the transfer portal, per a source, which breaks a record for most entries in a single cycle. The previous mark was set in 2022-23 at 3,502.
Still 5 days left too.

Lots needs to be changed regarding portal, NIL etc. First step, you enter the portal, you have crossed the Rubicon, you aint coming back.
It would stop some of these kids from holding their teams for ransom with no downside.

South Alabama LB Khalil Jacobs has a visit set. Kind of don't get this one unless we expect someone else to leave. I figured our 2 deep was set at LB.

He would be a 2-year guy and we lose Keys, Asante, and the Duke transfer after this year. He’d probably be in a good position to start in 25 and I think he’d be in a good position to be on the 2 deep this season.
