a Surprise OT just arrived to Auburn. Not sure who it is yet.

Mason Murphy from USC. Started all 12 games at RT. Unfortunately, he didn't grade very well lol...along with the rest of USC's OL.

We can’t seem to get the better portal OL to even sniff us.

I've been saying for years. We need to show we can help manage careers better before expecting elite QB and lineman to show interest.

Yeah. JLee said most likely scenario right now is Arnold and Ahston Daniels

I'm over PFF. In my opinion you have to watch the games and make an evaluation like I'm sure the staff already has. For example Percy "turn style" Lewis graded in the 70s according to PFF as a left tackle, but was awful for us.

Only thing I will say is comparing anyone's stats to Thorne's is almost pointless. His stats we're the issue, just going by those he was one of the better QBs in the conference this year, so anyone having stats like his isn't a negative thing. Thorne's issues we're turnovers and bad decision making at important times. We need someone who makes better decisions, not necessarily has better stats.

Nah. Someone on reddit posted all QBs PFF rankings. He was dead average. Even his stats weren't good.

I agree that PFF grades are hardly gospel, but keep in mind that USC's OL did in fact suck, and Miller Moss got sacked a bunch of times...hence why they lost a bunch of games. Its a pretty big risk IMO to rely on a non-elite upperclassman who himself is coming from a bad OL, to save your own OL.

With regards to Percy Lewis: I don't pay for PFF, but I would wager to bet that his PFF grade was horrible this season. Which means that he simply just regressed or declined for whatever reason. Regression obviously makes sense because they clearly watched his MSU tape last year and were excited enough to take him, so the fact that he graded in the 70's last year by PFF would seemingly agree with our staff's own evaluation.

I agree. He had a juggernaut building. Michigan was too high brow. Never accepted him.

Should’ve never left JSU. Resurrected his career, and then he bounces.

It's hard to project. Take Deboer. He likes lean pulling lineman. Opposite from Saban. It doesn't mean those Saban OL sucked. It comes down to coaches evals

A poster over on AU Family is saying that he's hearing that JA will be coming in as QB2 with 2 years of eligibility with a competitive NIL deal and that there will be an unname QB1 which will be a 1 and done. and supposedly the pitch to JA is that he will compete for the starting job in 2026 with White & Knight. sounds far fetched, but who knows with the current landscape.

Believe Jackson Arnold will commit this afternoon/tonight.

I also believe we’re waiting for another qb in the playoff
