Nakos @On3 confirmed QB Jackson Arnold is expected today. Nakos says he and Wiltfong have learned Auburn is heavily prioritizing him.
Not sure if that's indicative of how Murphy's visit went or if it's even accurate - who knows

I’d like to get Murphy but that’s why I said the other day won’t get exited about it till it’s done. We may miss both these guys and end up with an unknown.

I think it’ll be Jackson. We had some better options but different things kept them from happening.
We’ll definitely take JA just so we aren’t caught with our pants down with no qb, but it wouldn’t shock me if we make a run at another QB if they enter the portal after bowl games/Playoffs.

Arnold has a high ceiling. Even if he doesn't pan out, it looks like Freeze is adjusting to the portal world. I like it.

Who were the better options?? There have been exactly 0 100% day 1 difference makers hit the portal so far.
And we're 2 days into the portal window and haven't been spurned by anybody? Mensah and Castellanos (LMAO) are the only kids to commit anywhere so far and there was no indication we were in on them.

The worst part was Freeze not making the portal QB compete for the starting position. What if Deuce comes in and is better than the rental QB? Is Freeze going to give the rental the job so he “doesn’t press”?
