We definitely need to get some OL onboard simultaneously

Seems like you have unrealistic expectations for the portal. Reed would change the outlook of next year big time.

Vanderbilt?
Close to home.
Northwestern?
I can’t see him getting the attention of Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Ohio State.

If Marcel reed enters we need to get him. That kid is talented.

Here goes Corch being a retard again. Hank would’ve gotten the team bowl eligible this year, unlike your boy Thorne.

This wildly popular opinion among our fanbase despite even the coaches disagreeing is just another reason why I call our fanbase retarded.

Hank and Thorne are both gone now. F this dumb debate. Who are the QBs that can turn this shite train around?
Posted on 12/9/24 at 6:57 am to jangalang
I still wonder how this is going to work for the players who are in the playoffs. They have to announce their intent by the 28th....and still play with their current team? Very odd.
With twelve teams thats over 1,000 players and even a small percentage would be quite a few, and better quality no doubt.

Exactly. Neither one were what the offense needed. We need a true dual threat that doesn’t panic under pressure.

Cam Newton would panic under pressure with Hugh’s coaching because Hugh panics under pressure.
Teams take on the mentality of the head coach.
You’ll see….

He can’t change and won’t change.
It’s not predicting anything.
He has shown us exactly what kind of coach he is. Plenty of data points to go by. Plenty.
How would YOU grade his coaching during your hiatus on the board?
I would love to hear your thoughts on his coaching acumen.

The whole 3 games I was away?
Thought it was pretty standard coaching. Won 2 of the 3 games beat a ranked team at home. Lost to Alabama on the road.
I thought against aTm the aggressiveness of the the play calling from the offensive staff won the game. Put aTm on their heels the entire game.
Bama game I thought our defense couldn’t get off the field, some do that was scheme to try to attempt to not give up the big play but just kept give up 3rd down conversions. Offense moved the ball average but the OL got its arse whipped at the line is scrimmage.
So again I thought the coaching was about SEC average in the 3 games.
How did you think the coaching was the last 3 games?

Soooo who do we think that we will be saying this about?
I kind of like the Tulane kid he has a couple of years left. Not sure Arnold can do it and he only has 1 year, UNLV Sluka has a year.
Weigman & Moss who are at the top ranking are both pocket passers.
Salter has a year and know the system. Had a bad year this year but great last year.
So if your job depended on it, who would you get? Remember we need 2 and some line.

The debate is over if they are going to pretend they are smarter than the coaches. I just laugh.

Jackson Arnold now. See who enters the portal after the playoffs. We need 2 QBs.
I like Weigman the best of the QBs in the portal but until we have a good OL pocket passers are sitting ducks in obvious passing downs.
Granted who is at the top could change with a QB entering the portal.

That happened in several games this season. Thornton has not delivered.

A reliable kicker would’ve gotten us bowl eligible.
An average OL would’ve gotten us bowl eligible this year.
