Hard to believe, but it's true. Sampson did have almost 70 more carries and still averaged 5.8 per carry. If we would have given Hunter 40 more carries and he hovered around 6 ypc, we win at least 2 more games.
The JSU RB and QB duo were both in the top 20 of Rush attempts this season with the RB getting 264 and the QB getting 215. That's a serious rushing attack. I wonder if Rich Rod gets another chance somewhere if he keeps it up at JSU?

There’s definitely more instate talent, and it’s a lot closer to Florida and Georgia to convince kids to come to also.

Is it? They showed a graphic earlier during the game showing 2022 and 2023. Maybe they were just talking about ASU in general. Couldn’t hear what they were saying.
