Why a double secret on who will be the 4th QB and scout team quarterback?

I don’t even want to play his game. We were promised Ewers or Klubnik. Now we’re getting told there’s some QB on campus that is drawing social security but is coming out of retirement to get some extra NIL bingo money.

No we weren’t. We paid 2.5 for Arnold for 2 years.

This thought that we are going to have 4 multiple million dollar QBs on the roster isn’t feasible.

Arnold expensive
Deuce expensive
Daniel’s not expensive but not bare minimum

Jville you gotta hit the powerball or something if you think college football rosters are gonna look like Texas this past season. Not happening. So play the power ball win it and make it happen for AU. Everyone has a price

Got cleared to give the name. It’s Tanner Bailey, former 4* usce QB.

Pocket passer. We just need an arm for practice.

Would he come here knowing he won't ever start?

He’s a student at Auburn already.

His dream was to play for AU. So we will see

Then they should’ve just brought Holden back. It makes zero sense.

Just a hunch here but I would assume Holden didn’t want to just be an arm for practice

I don’t know why you continue to think we can just go and pick out four starting QBs and have them all on the roster at the same time.

I believe our QB 3 is already on campus and enrolled at school.

He previously played for an SEC school and retired from football.

Thats as much as I can narrow it down without saying his name. lol

Correct on the budget and players in a QB room, look at Georgia.

In the offseason they have Beck (the best QB in college at the time), Vandagriff as a two year backup, and Gunner who will get a couple of years under Vandagriff they are set.

Vandagriff bolts, Beck holds you for a kings ransom or he goes pro, then you go to the portal and your first pick falls through so you have to pay a fortune for the next man up.

You roll into the playoffs, Beck is hurt, your expensive portal is not working out and you are starting a redshirt freshman......with a QB budget double what you had in the offseason.

Now you dont even have the money, time, or whatever, to go to the portal and get some good receivers.

Paying a fortune for a QB room doesnt even ensure you are set, and it definitely affects the budget for the rest of the team.

Tanner Bailey is a legacy. His dad Lance played for Dye in the late 80’s.

And it doesnt mean it's good roster management. Have to think big picture. Cant be like the Matthew Stafford Detroit Lions loading up on Wrs while penny pinching the defense

Lions have an injury problem, not a resource mismanagement problem, right?

Edit: My b, you're talking about the past
