I mean, he's not wrong about how hamstrung we were in game situations due to the inability to make routine kicks.

You need to wait until Auburn closes its Portal WR additions to see if Perry will leave or not. Of course he won't leave right now as they haven't added anyone yet. But what happens if they add Singleton and CJ Daniels (or even Horatio Fields)? They are clearly looking to add 2 WR's if they can get the guys they like; and some of the guys they are after (like Fields) are bigger WR's.
The fact that Camden Brown left doesn't signal anything about Perry Thompson. Again, the question with Thompson will be how he will feel if we add two Portal WR's who in turn place him back on the bench for next season.

Yea it may be worth making a kickers dreams come true (sort of). I hated watching us suck on special teams last year.

It was a major factor (among others) in at least 3-4 of our losses this year.
The damn coaching staff better be passionate about it!
Would you have been comfortable with Mr. Magoo kicking that 22 yarder to win the MNC back in January 2011?

I’m way more concerned with finding someone at QB that can punch it in the end zone than a kicker.
