It’s about Kyle Parker from LSU.

As for Shull he came in January and was having a hard time adjusting. He didn’t enroll in classes this fall and went back home. New staff told him to look elsewhere. I believe he was making around 400k and expected that same kind of money when he came back.

No, its about Kyle Parker, the LSU WR. We don't want to spend money.

We didn't lose all of our starters and many of them probably got a raise and non-starters like Kail Ellis probably also got a raise

Ok, I will list them. Cobb, X, Sly Smith.. I’m sure I’m forgetting someone.. did i leave anyone out? Or do you want me to include everyone who started at least one game?

What a waste. Is there any recourse in recouping funds paid out to non compliance. He wasn’t in class?

He is being sarcastic. The snip-it in the article was positive.

I’m sorry, we need him at LT. Pay that man.

It’s a bidding war, Ole Miss was the leader but now Auburn is in the lead. We will see who is willing to pay 5he most. It will take $2.5M or more to get him.

About Seaton?

Paying an elite OT, QB money is not far off imo.

1. QB
2. OT
3. Edge

Top 3 imo

The Hugh model of

1. WR
2. WR
3. WR

Didn’t work

I just don't see the LSU WR as a need. That money could be better spent at a position we NEED to fill.

Completely agree. These are the 3 high leverage positions in college football today. Next would be CB, Interior OL & WR probably about even

The problem is, it seems there aren’t many quality starters left in this cycle

Yep, and I would probably have DT in there with IOL and WR

For who?

I haven’t seen anyone tie us to the Colorado OT

They are not getting Seaton, my guy. They have paid for two upperclassmen starter OT's already. Simmons is a Senior, and Ramil is a Redshirt Junior next season.

Look at the schools that are trending early for Seaton:

Oregon: 1 unranked Portal OT signed so far.
Texas: 0 Portal OT's signed so far.
Miami: 0 Portal OT's signed so far.
LSU: 1 lower ranked Portal OT signed so far.

If anyone is going to give him a blank check, it will be one of these schools that hasn't already committed money to 2026 starters in the Portal.

Here comes Jang to educate us all that one of your starters may in fact get hit by a bus at some point during the season, so you gotta recruit at least 10 starters on the OL and pay them all starter salaries, and the reserves will just happily sit on the bench.

Again, you are not signing Top 15 OT's like Ramil and Simmons to sit on your bench. This is basic numbers and logistics. This isn't like WR where you can actively play 6+ guys every game.

It wasn’t said, only implied. The On3 Transfer Portal post said AU and Golesh have surged to the top for a top target, and attached that post to a post that suitors were lining up for Jordan Seatin. So it could be that Auburn is surging for someone else. It’s not clear. I just ran with the implication. No insight just speculation.

The article lists a bunch of players and the updates for them. Auburn's section is about the LSU WR. They are not mentioned at all for Seaton.

Again, Nakos is talking about the LSU WR.
