I was specifically talking about OL. Were we overpaying Dylan Senda or Tyler Johnson? Why did they leave? We have plenty of space to keep them. Maybe it’s as simple as they wanted to start somewhere.
OL, QB, and WR were overpaid! If a TE got a fricking dollar, that was too much!

Doesn't matter....they're all 3 stars or lower.

I live 30 minutes from Bloomington. Have never been to an IU game because they suck arse and I grew up an AU fan. I have been to several Auburn games. Cig came in and basically shite on the Big10, called out OSU in his opening press conference. I instantly became a fan...especially after he's backed it up.

Golesh has brought on every component of a top 10 offense. Golesh rimds me of Cignenti. We've needed a hard nose coach forever

getting them enrolled

Will schools shift the academic calendar to make “portaling” easier?

Way back when, some schools had a short “January term” which lasted just a few weeks, then the semester started later.

The quarter system might be better for portal enrollment. We were on quarters at Auburn when I was there as a student. Tennessee and Georgia were on quarter system back then as well.

95% of American Universities are on the Semester system so going back to quarters would make it hard to for transfers.

Jackson Arnold was getting over $1 million

He was getting closer to 2 from a chart that I saw along with our 2 WR making about 1.8 mil

I know they put in that hard work but I also know they were juiced. Same as another team that dominated with almost no “talent” that used the moniker “Husker Power”. Juiced up.

Many were juiced in the 80's you could go into the old gym and find folks to buy it from in Auburn. It wasn't even a secret. Dudes getting jacked on the juice & you think players were not taking it?

Bosworth?

Many stories when I was there in the 80s

It's funny to me that a guy (or family) that has any connection will not go to Auburn with few exceptions while Auburn is much more open back and forth.

I remember the lineman about 10 years ago that got grey shirted by saban as a 4 star kid because his parents wanted him at Alabama so bad while he had offers from a ton of other schools. It is beaten into them deep.

who is his QB going to be? lol if it's not all about money like Mike G said. look.... that team will win 8 games with him next year if he commits and Deboer will be gone. They just lost Horton so I won't be surprised if he pulls this shite. With or without Cam they're an afterthought in college football right now.

Not directed at you, you were the last reply.

Anyone know what’s up with the Ohio Stae IOL?

And I’ve not heard his name mentioned, but feels like he could be an excellent choice as QB2… What about Air Noland? He has already transferred once and is in the portal again. He could be QB2 this year and QB1 next. He liked us out of high school … or did that ship sail when ole boy went back to Boston College?

What does that say about him? He jump from OSU to the cocks but couldn't break in the starting rotation but is unwilling to stay and compete? No thanks. Take a look at that back up from USF...knows the system and if he wasn't able to compete at the SEC level do yo think this staff would have taken him here at AU?

I really don't want anyone that we went after that HF was high on. I don't think he had them right in the personality dept. Skill level yes but probably not in the head space. Too many games & not enough seriousness.

If we are considering Air Noland then why not talk Tate Martell out of retirement? He has eligibility left

That or we could end the charade that these guys that change schools every year give a rats arse about the education aspect and just end the enrollment requirement altogether. Let’s just call this a pro league that is sponsored by universities.

Yeah that’s the same.

Noland legitimately has 3 years of eligibility remaining.

I mean if we are just talking shite why not pull Cam Newton and have him threaten the NCAA with a lawsuit filed in Alabama? He technically had two years of eligibility remaining when he went to the NFL.
