Brown better have a Heisman type season next year, or Drago let Deuce walk for nothing.

It is becoming harder and harder for me to not believe that a significant % of the posters here aren't pre pubescent teenage girls. Like good Lord people, get off Twitter and stop reading forums if it makes you feel this way, ain't nothing worth it.

I don’t think offering him $2M is letting him walk

There he is. AG may fail as a HC, that is still TBD. But his chances at being successful are greater than Deuce being a stud QB. Big facts.

It’s definitely greater than the 3* no name QB that Drago just signed that is now QB2. Hopefully they can talk Duckworth into dropping south Crackalaky and staying home now.

They've been saying for a few days they expect him to leave. Auburn might be looking to get two for one where he's concerned.

I felt like I got burned the last time I shared some, "they said," so, I pumped the breaks on sharing that.

It looks like Jake Crain got his wish. We're sanitizing the entire fricking building, like it, or not....

I’ve always thought that line of thinking was complete nonsense. Sometimes our fans can be high tempered conspiracy theorists.

Here is the next concern.

You are Golesh and the roster just emptied. Most of the guys leaving are talent. Like it or not., we are losing guys who could play. How do you go to the portal and start convincing guys to come? How do you explain what happened and convince new talent that coming to Auburn is going to be a good choice?

I feel like it is going to be a hard sell.

Cold hard cash and the fact that he isn't Hugh freeze. He didn't create this mess... he simply inherited it.

He inherited a great roster. He let them walk himself.

For me, if a guy enters the portal, our time together is over. I’m not groveling for you to come back as tough as it may be. Just seems like a principle I’d like to stand on.

Per Jimmy Johnson philosophy, depends on the talent level of the player.
If the talent level is high enough, every coach in America is groveling for you to come back. Any rhetoric to the contrary is absurd. Some you just leave to door open for, some you close the door.

I still think there is more to it than that

Cant be said enough

Somehow he has to sell a rebuild. Not sure how and like I said before, glad Im not the one having to do it. He has to sell a plan to them along with the cash.

you get a few of your guys on board as early as possible when the portal opens. That means Brown is in the door on Friday and a couple receivers with him. those guys are helping to recruit and bring others with them.

He's gonna have to bring a ton of USF guys in on the cheap and throw the large majority of the rest at o linemen. Then you divvy out whats left to skill guys.

If he can't do that then idk fellas. This last week has been heart breaking ngl.

It'd be a good time for a war eagle+ video where he lays out the plan for us.

I think we can get BB, Singleton, Nimrod, Lee, Gaskin and Mitchell from USF.

Agreed. Now let's see what he's made of. Does he have a strong answer, or is he just delusional? He deserves a chance to show what he can do.

I'd take em all. That's a great place to start but we'll need more.
