I'm sure I speak for everyone... can y'all please STFU about this? It is a moot point, no sense in arguing.

Our transfer portal class will be large. We will probably be among the top losers and top winners just based on turnover quantity alone.

Quality matters and then we can weigh the losses with the additions and see how the roster stacks up

I expect 30-40 new, warm, breathing bodies and a "top ten portal class."

I might double down just to personally piss you off more.

I think I read where Iowa State was down to 19 returning players.

I agree. Not to rehash Gus but I remember times when we got high ranked athletes who had no real role on the team. Looked good on some graphs but worthless on the field.

You said it best earlier, we have to recruit and develop talent. We don't have the luxury of being good at one and poor at the other.

For me, the first thing, in terms of the portal is locking up that qb. If he cannot land his guy, then I will start to get very concerned.

No, but you can kindly suck my dog’s dick though.

I may post about it five more times to see you post on behalf of everyone again.

And they could do so much to help this by saying we are going back to the old transfer rules where you have to sit out a year if you transfer, unless you are a grad transfer. They wouldn't even have to touch NIL.

Yep, brought this up earlier. Here is a link to their school site and they have no players listed, only coaches and staff.

Auburn did one thing right. Deuce made the situation awkward so they went ahead and retired 2.

Imagine unretiring that number for a Twitter hero

We had a whole defense of “Star” players. Hahahahahaha it seemed like every other signee was a “Star”. Those and “athlete.” Like you said, no defined position.

I'm 97.2% certain he is referring to BC and Kenyatta.

It's a lost cause man, every day on the Internet I'm reminded of who shares the road with me and whose vote counts the same as mine and I just keep my mouth shut and my eyes on the road and traffic around me because who knows wtf some of these mental midgets are gonna decide is a logical choice...

Could have sworn he used to be Auburn news for the Auburn "I'm an engineer" pinky-up mensa men.

Think he lowered his standards because of Charlie 5 influencers stealing his clicks.

I expect Auburn to get get whoever they want from the Portal, given the amount of NIL money that we will have to throw around.

There are fans who are creating a logical fallacy: if we let "talented" players leave, then we will by default roll into next season with a "less talented" roster. This implies that the players who are leaving Auburn are the only talented players in the Portal, which is obviously absurd. Cam Coleman is talented, but he is not the only talented receiver in the country. Having Cam Coleman obviously also isn't a prerequisite to winning games in this conference. We know this because lots of SEC teams won more games than us, and they didn't have Cam Coleman.

I would suggest that fans wait until the smoke clears. I would be very surprised if Auburn does not field a talented roster next season. Some of these new players will be select G5 players who are good enough to produce in this conference. Yes, there are players at the G5 level who are as good as some of the players we are losing.

Putting it simply: if this staff is any good, then they will find enough players to play winning football starting next season. If they can't do that, then they wouldn't have won with the players that are leaving anyway.

they won’t be trashing those who leave publicly. . .

They’ll just be glad they’re gone.
