Again, can somebody tell me what point there is in wasting time and money on a 5-star HS QB that isn't immediately going to be named your starter? These guys are up to like a 75% transfer rate since the 2023 class LMAO.

I asked CGPY to give the 5 Underrated Offensive Tackles in the 2026 Transfer Portal
1) Wilkin Formby – OT (Alabama)
• Profile: Multi-year starter at Alabama, started 15+ games the past two seasons.
• Why underrated: Despite strong SEC experience and size (6'7", 325 lbs), Formby hasn’t gotten as much buzz as Peak or Heard. Still, his PFF-linked recruiting and game reps suggest power and pass-protect ability that fits immediate Power 5 starter roles.
• PFF/Ranking context: Listed in the portal rankings but typically below top 3, making him a potential steal. ?
2) Xavier Chaplin – OT (Auburn)
• Profile: Junior with substantial SEC starting experience (Auburn, Virginia Tech).
• Why underrated: Constantly overshadowed by higher “top-of-portal” names, but he allowed only limited pressures and sacks in pass sets last season per PFF tracking. Has All-Conference upside in a Power 5 league.
• PFF/Ranking context: Ranked solidly in portal OT lists yet talked about far less than Peak/Heard. ?
3) Andrew Sprague – OT (Michigan)
• Profile: Starting right tackle for Michigan with PFF grade ~69+ over ~740 snaps.
• Why underrated: Youth and fog around his “do not contact” status has muted buzz. High upside considering age and experience at a big-time program. Very few sacks allowed relative to snaps.
• PFF/Ranking context: Appears in top 5 portal OT lists but doesn’t get the draft hype of other names. ?
4) Nick Del Grande – OT (Coastal Carolina)
• Profile: Mobile tackle with strong run-blocking and arc-kick technique — excels vs power rushers.
• Why underrated: Group of 5 players often gets overlooked despite good PFF grades and skill sets appealing to Power 5 teams seeking scheme versatility.
• PFF/Ranking context: Listed in extended OL impact scoring — highly productive and still available. ?
5) Jack Foster – OT (Nevada)
• Profile: Long-armed tackle with technique soundness and 6'6" frame.
• Why underrated: Doesn’t have the name recognition of top portal tackles, but PFF’s OL impact metrics show solid performance that projects well for higher-level competition.
• PFF/Ranking context: Near the top of impact scoring lists for portal linemen without major buzz. ?

Also, Lame Kitten likely whiffed on his top 2 qb's. No way Leavitt trusts him now and Demond Williams is staying at Washington now. wouldn't surprise me if he goes after Longstreet now.
Nakos is saying that Oregon is the early team to watch for Longstreet.
Oregon is actually smart lol - they just let other idiots sign the 5-star QB and develop them for a year, then they poach him once they have a QB opening, They did the same thing with Dante Moore.

Anyone know if the UCLA CB, Andre Jordan, visited today? Looks like he was scheduled today but haven't heard if he made it or not.

Again, can somebody tell me why any Auburn fan would be opposed to stacking talent at the most important position on the field after several years of shite QB play?

Can we tamper with old piss’s kicker? Geez

My guy, you benefit ZERO out of a QB sitting on your bench for a season and then transferring out to go start elsewhere. Furthermore, the money you paid him to sit on your bench is enough to buy an actual starter at another position. This is actually a pretty big deal considering that Auburn clearly has a cap on spending. Do you have any understanding whatsoever of capital management?
You probably think that these are future "investments", but they are proving to not even be that because their attrition rates are through the fricking roof. If you haven't noticed by now, the only way to keep them on your roster is to basically assure them the starting job as soon as humanly possible, but what is funny is that even THAT isn't keeping them in place LOL. Nebraska pushed Dylan Raiola right onto the field and he still hit the Portal. What is even funnier is that he wasn't even that good.
This guy seriously thinks that a backup QB is an integral part of a football team. You realize that even if your starter gets hurt, the likelihood is very low that a true freshman is going to save your season, regardless of how many stars he had out of HS, right?
I don't even understand why you choose to still argue me on this. Hey genius: Freeze signed 2 Top 100 HS QB's (Walker White, Deuce Knight) and the investment on those two got us one win vs. Mercer LOLOLOL

I sort of agree with metafour. We pay DK big bucks to stick around, and then he just transfers next season anyway. These agents only thing that might make sense is a 2 year contract that is heavily back loaded to the 2nd year. Otherwise let him go and spend big money elsewhere.

Heard someone saying he was calling the plays while he was 17 in HS. If true that says a lot about this kid.

There is literally a QB starting for old piss tonight who was sitting on the bench earlier this season. You think they think it was a good idea to bring in another QB right about now?

Yeah, Hew thought that way too. We’ll just stack talent around Thorne and dismiss the QB room. How’d that work out?

Sure do. Do you understand that the money is already allocated for the QB2 position whether it be Deuce or someone else?

I had a dog. A boxer that I named Tyson. Great dog but you better have some energy to exercise them or they will tear your house apart to burn that energy off. I would put his harness and grab his leash hope on my bike and ride him a couple miles in the neighborhood twice a day. Burned that energy keep him slim and fit looking and no one absolutely no one would try to enter my house before I had him and put him away. Ferocious sounding but was a big baby.
I don't know nor really care too much about portal millionaires but I have found a love for dogs. My wife (too old for pictures) has fostered over 150 of some crazy animals. Our best was a shepherd named Ice. Ice Ice Baby could and would kill. Miss that damn beast.

Why aren't we looking at the Ole Miss QB that's in the portal? If he hasn't found a starting job yet, he probably isn't going to
Posted on 1/8/26 at 9:09 pm to NC1406
If our NIL deals are heavily incentivized for performance, seems playing time is the key and only starters are gonna be attracted to that. Wonder if from the players side there are clauses mandating they get 60%of snaps, etc to get to those incentives

Austin Simmons? If so, he went in with a no contact and has signed with Mizzou.

From the way Drago talked today, he may be pivoting away from the incentive stuff, at least for this year when it comes to oline and dline.

What did he say today?? Curious

That they were in a dogfight for several oline and dline players. I’ll look for the exact quote. Basically sounds like they’re ready to drop the bag against anyone.

Was it just a presser? I’m sure I could look it up
