Glad we have a coach who's willing to adapt a philosophy if it isn't working. That's a new one for Auburn

There is literally a QB starting for old piss tonight who was sitting on the bench earlier this season. You think they think it was a good idea to bring in another QB right about now?
Difference being that Trinidad Chambliss came to Ole Miss from a D2 program and wasn't highly touted out of high school. He may have cost OM some chump change.
No way he is/was making $2-3 million like Deuce Knight or some of these highly rated backups would command.

I doubt it. He was a starter that won a D2 championship.

I guarantee he got a massive raise during the season Kayin Lee style.

Hope he gets another year. Helps us keep DK

Joe Montana / Steve Young
Alex Smith / Mahomes
No matter the situation, it's a no brainer to hold on to QB talent within reason.
Alabama, USC, Steve Spurrier - Florida, Pat Dye - late eighties
If we are in such penny-pinching mode that we can't afford to give a talented Knight a year trial period - to doesn't matter anyway - as we are not on track to be a winning program.
If I'm dealing with uncertainty of my last $2 M , it will be at the QB position. Plenty supposed portal transfer "starters" just suck and never see the field.

You need to get out more. We offered him over 7 figures to ride the pine.
We are not penny-pinching. None of really know the money these cats are being offered. There is speculation but we are not reading the contracts. It would be interesting to see but we don't. We have talking heads and wanna be talking heads talking like they are in the room while the negotiations are going on but they aren't. So if you know different please show the proof on here.

Yes! For now though, suck it old piss! Still an empty trophy case for all that crap their fans have talked since Kiffin let his daughter cuck him into staying there.

Ole Miss gave us two classic games. I’m not mad. Was honestly pulling for them after all the crap with Kiffin, just thought it would’ve been hilarious. Great game. I love cfb

The U’s RB reminds me of Tre Mason years…
Patiently stuttering at the line waiting for the block to open. A thing of beauty!!

Miami could’ve ran all over old piss all night if they wanted to. Crystalballs’ OC went full Hew and almost cost them the game.

For real. Or I would have given it to Toney every play. Seemed the only thing stopping them was Beck

Since there's no 2027 HS thread RN, I'll post it here; 5* CB Joshua Dobson is visiting Saturday. Sorry for the OT post.

Back on topic here's a few quotes from Tshabola after his visit via Clemente/247:
He was supposed to visit UK but didn't make that trip.
quote:
"Man, these guys have a great staff," Tshabola said. "Probably one of the best staffs that I've met. These guys know how to do it. Obviously you can tell by their records and the things that they've accomplished at the last couple schools. They've got good people here."
quote:
"He's a very good coach in the brief time that I had with him. He's a really knowledgeable guy," Tshabola said of Coach Hoodie. "You can tell he's a guy that really works hard for his players. I can't speak highly enough about this staff. Coach Hoodie came in and he had a plan prepared for me to improve. A strict plan with a bunch of different ideas of how he was going to help me improve. That's what kind of sold me with him, how eager and hungry he was to get on this thing and help me improve and help this team improve."
quote:
"I have a couple other places I have to go see," Tshabola said. "It will be done in the next couple of days, still trying to finalize that actually."
quote:
"They set the bar high, I'll tell you that much," Tshabola said. "The main thing that took me by surprise how excited the players were. The players are excited and have a lot of trust in the way they do things here. They have a lot of trust in the coach and the whole staff spoke very highly about the coach. It says something when the staff continuously follows a coach from place to place."
He was supposed to visit UK but didn't make that trip.
