Sigler is in, so at least its not all bad news today.

But that’s where we get a little tired of reading that. “Competitive offer” if it’s competitive why we losing all those “competitions”? I’m optimistic on the guys coming in but acting like they are an upgrade in talent is questionable at best. Amaris I’d bet will do well.

I wouldn't be surprised if some of these guys were taking pay cuts to be on better teams. The suck tax is a real thing, from what I've read...

Dude didn’t attend practices in Miami. Was working on game planning. Some players said they really only saw him at games. Weird dude. Be a good OC for Atlanta.

I don't understand the confusion. All of our projected starters that left are now on better teams.
1. Not what you originally said
2. How are you defining better team? More prestigious school? Better recently?
Relevant players:
Perry - Minnesota
Fields - Mizzou
Carter - Iowa State
Crawford - Ole Miss
Arnold - UNLV
Senda - Toledo
Coleman - Texas/Texas Tech/Bama
Starr - Clemson
Woodyard - Mizzou
Lee - Tennessee
Daniels - FSU
Amaris - UGA
Waller - Arkansas
Blocton - LSU
You act like it’s a laundry list of guys going to better teams.
I see 3 on this list depending on how you define it. If you’re just saying a better team record wise then of course it’s going to be everybody because we’ve fricking sucked.

Because we’ve sucked for years and haven’t proven to be a NFL factory like some of these other schools

Then let’s pay more and stop being “competitive”. It’s like you may have to do something outside of your comfort zone to make a change. Also more than half the players on that list most definitely went to better programs.

Most all of those teams had better seasons, have had better seasons in recent years, or their trajectory is better than Auburn so yea his point stands.

There’s no sugar coating it… coaches decided not to pay the suck tax and let guys walk. If we start winning games, then it was a good gamble.
On one hand, our staff may not have appreciated the true value of some of these guys and they are now learning the hard way.
On the other hand, our NIL and team culture needed a reset. We let talented guys walk who will contribute to other good teams and we still may end up better. Only time will tell.

We seem to be losing a few too many.
That said, right now UGA wins, plays in CFP and puts kids in the NFL. It shouldn’t be shocking a kid chooses them over a program with on a multi year losing streak and a coaching staff that’s largely new
I’d be concerned if we started losing a lot of these kids to mid tier teams like South Carolina or FSU

I figured that would be the response. It’s almost impossible not to transfer to a better team than we’ve been since Harsin got here.
I would take that comment as all our transfers are 100% worth paying because X school is willing to pay them.
For example, if UGA is willing to pay them, pretty good argument they’re worthy of paying. If Arkansas is willing to pay you, I trust that opinion a lot less.
Tennessee, OM, Clemson are in the middle somewhere

We have zero idea what the budget is, what players are getting paid (I know there’s speculation out there), etc. which is why i kinda hate everyone being so definitive in their opinions about it.
None of us have any clue what’s going on. Which sucks as a fan. Especially us fans that used to follow recruiting. It’s different now. You can have a transfer just sign with you and you’ve never heard his name except an hour before he signs.
Pretty much why I’ve held off having any opinion pro or con until we have a set roster

You may be right but the truth is that we don't know what, or how, they're negotiating. It's still just speculation.
