This likely wont be the last season the playoffs are full of Indianas' and Miami or Ole Miss'. Preseason predictions are out the windows and depth no longer rolls over at all. If I were to guess, this will speed up a solution such as 2yr contracts or another solution in the future

There shouldn't be any official rankings until October, anyway. I'm convinced that the only reason we have preseason and early rankings is to increase TV viewership.

Yep. Also, the contracts that AU is handing out this year are not just plain checks but are incentive based but have a smaller base & that agent doesn't get the money off of the incentive.
