It’s sad that our best insider in history is tied to a 5 star recruit that left us

My genes are so ingrained with caucasoid whiteness that when I was born, I already knew how to play and sing "Don't Stop Believing".

And that song came out 8 years after I was born.

I've noticed that we are hearing less and less from the portal doom and gloomers. Do we daresay that Golesh has exceeded expectations so far?
All of the pieces we have brought in the last few days are depth and roster filler. If I sit here and complain about every random player on the team I'd go crazy, but none of them are impact players (fine for roster fillers though) I'm shocked to see so many going crazy about Womack and he has been a bust up to this point and was a back up for Ole Miss. I'm just sitting back and letting yall enjoy these scraps, no reason for me to come in and shite on everything.

Hilarious you just brought up Womack. You may want to take a look at the rating bump that he just received

I think Brooks has sort of usurped New Balance nowadays.

NCAA literally can't do any of that. The House vs. NCAA case pretty much took all authority away from the NCAA to enforce anything to do with NIL. The NCAA can still make rules for the sports (a hold is a 10 yard penalty), they can enforce gambling rules, they can enforce some other stuff, but they have NO POWER at all over NIL.
There is always loop holes. As long as the NCAA has power over the programs and TV they can limit what a player can do to play for a program under their power. They can block a program from being eligible for their playoff if they play a player that didn't agree to play for free or under their cap.

A player would have to agree to the ncaa's terms to legally play for their association.

The entire nation would have to split from the ncaa (a huge legal battle) to not follow the rules. The ncaa still has say over who can and can't play for their programs and lots of players still want to win NCs as much as anything.

There is no court ruling that the ncaa has to let anyone play under them or who they have to let in the bowls.

D1A doesn’t have a playoff. That’s ESPN’s baby.

The NCAA is still over the schools and all it's programs. It can still put teams on probation for not following it's rules.

Not all schools agree on the current setup as is and it would take most being on the same page for any kind of real split from the NCAA.

But either way, the current format will destroy cfb and only last for a brief period without rules. Too many programs aren't going to sit by while random programs buy players with unlimited money and tie their program down.

I just hope the players can fill the roles
They are needed for. No doubt we are a less talented team now then when the portal opened. But all that talent couldn’t win because of coaching and culture. Can less talent win? I don’t know.

I’m just ready to win.

I only care how we perform now. Being talented means nothing when you go 5-7. Let's hope this is the start of respectability

I don't care about his rating. He's done next to nothing in 3 years of football and was a back up for Ole Miss last year. Only reason anyone cares about him is he used to be a 5 star recruit in high school. He's decent roster filler and that's it.
