But nobody is asking coaches for payback penalties.

Yes they do. It is called a buyout. If we fire you here is your payout. If you leave before your contract is up then the coach pays the buyout.

Similar to what UGA is suing the lineman that went to Mizzu. That is what I am talking about. Sign a contract & be held to it.

USF's (South Florida Bulls) defense had a solid 2025 season, ranking around 60th overall but showing strength against the run (24th nationally) while allowing 27.2 points and 409.8 yards per game, finishing 79th in points allowed and 93rd in yards allowed nationally, indicating a middle-of-the-pack performance with specific strengths in stopping the ground game before their bowl game.

Key Defensive Rankings (2025 Season - Pre-Bowl):
Overall Points Allowed: ~79th nationally (27.2 PPG)
Overall Yards Allowed: ~93rd nationally (409.8 YPG)
Yards Per Play Allowed: ~53rd nationally (5.3 YPP)
Opponent Yards/Play: ~5.1 (TeamRankings)
Opponent 3rd Down Conv: ~39.52% (TeamRankings)
Rushing Defense: 24th nationally (allowing 110.1 YPG)

In Summary:
USF's defense was a mixed bag in 2025, excelling against the run but struggling to stop the pass, leading to average overall rankings in points and yards allowed, though they were improving and ranked highly in some situational stats as the season progressed.

Sounds like Auburn.

We want DBs from there?

Maybe, just maybe, we will actually throw to him.

And maybe he’ll catch the easy ones. He does well with the highlight reel catches, though.

Yes. We’ve been told from our experts on here how easily Crawford can be replaced

I'd be fine with either of them replacing Strader or Ganus if they inevidably don't come back.

That one hurts, hopefully we can retain him. He has always seemed all in for AU.

Don’t worry guys. We retained Durkin and were guaranteed that players wouldn’t leave.

Got to love the statement he put out. "I love Auburn and the money they gave me, but as soon as it was time to be a starter I decided to run"
