Why was Saban a scumbag? Let's be honest, we would have loved to have him at AU. He's been a pain in the arse for sure, but he also is partly responsible for AU changing things up, ultimately winning a NC and playing for another.

I don’t care.

Any hire they make is a significant step DOWN.

Gonna be fun to see how those people deal with it.

How do you know this? He came into a great situation at Oregon, in a terrible conference, and didn’t do any better than Crystalballs.

Seems likely. I ironically know more people close to the AL program than AU. I was messing with them yesterday saying AL needs to give Deion an interview for the diversity and inclusion image of the program and they said Lanning is candidate #1 and is in town (this was last night).

That would be a good thing IMO. Hoping Kiffin and Lanning stay away. I'd be OK with Dabo tbh.

I've been pushing Deion to everyone I know. The trolling is a little too on the nose tbh.

Some are surprisingly logical about it.

"next guy is not going to make it 2-3 years under the Saban shadow and so we need a guy who doesn't leave the cupboards bare [a recruiter] vs. a guy who can win with what Saban left and then scamber once Saban's guys are gone."

Kiffin would be interesting because he is a great recruiter.

In the surface Bama can not recruit any better so you would think that 25 recruits would now be in play that would have looked at Ole Miss.

Not high school. Freeze would dominate him in high school recruiting.
