I hope to God this is not true but I have just gotten word that Philip Lutz was in an car accident last night and was killed.
I hope that this is extremely wrong information and that I can delete this thread ASAP.

From multiple sources. gatorhater on SECr says his friend was the driver of the car who was also killed as well.

Ron Saunders and KN seem to be confirming it now. Friend in Cobb County told me Lutzie's good friend from HS found out in church and told him. Got the text about an hour ago . So sad

Got the seatbelt story from a good friend. A beta was in the wreck and lived since he was the only one with a seatbelt on

Supposedly everyone in Lutzie's car was from atlanta originally so assuming it happened there since a UGA alum was in the car

This is horrible. Phillip seemed to be coming into his own. He was writing for websites and had just gotten the coaching position. RIP

I never met him but I am sick to my stomach. He seemed like pure class from everything I heard from him and read about him. Prayers go out to his family and friends.
