Not sure I can put a number on it.

Diagnosed with prostate cancer in early January. Wife lost her job in March. Had my surgery in April, appeared to have gotten it all, waiting for lab results for PSA to make certain.

Daughter in SLC, boyfriend lost his job due to COVID, then they had earthquakes. Fortunately she got a better job and he’s on unemployment so their finances are good now, except that she’s worried about riots now.

Moved my 91-year-old m-i-l in with us late April, dealing with her daily care since then.

Still dealing with my parents’ estate from when my mom died last November, complicated by my brother dying the next day. My cousin, who was the family attorney, was forced to close his practice for health reasons in April, right before our uncle died suddenly, so having to help deal with that as well.

Overall I’d say an 8 or so. I’m still alive, and my family still loves one another, so I’m good

All that and it’s only been a 7 on the shitty scale? I’d say you’re an optimist.

I will start February - lose my job February - May - Covid Quarantine May - get diagnosed with cancer May-June - treat for said cancer All in all, I would still give it a 7. I have had the best moments with my family over these last few months and wouldn’t give that up for the world.

WOW - if these are 7's and 8's color me a 1.

Hat's off to both of you and prayers for both to have 1's in 21. Oh I did get three splinters yesterday.... just 7's & 8's WOW.

I don’t know how you’ll take this, but thanks for the perspective. I thought I have had a bad year until I read that.

Thanks for sharing. That’s all really tough. When 2021 hits, let’s go have a drink and be thankful for a new year

I have been extremely blessed. Working from home is great. No one in my family has lost their jobs. Golf courses stayed open. Alabama is now basically Completely open.

The negative impacts are entertainment related, loss of March Madness, cancelled vacations.

I am troubled by Covid and the health of our country and world. Also that some off you have had a difficult time, prayers for you all.

Shitty, but thank God my job is stable (and apparently safe.) Wifes too. Had kidney stones in February and that was a fricking spectacular experience... but then its just this whole covid nonsense, then we lost Coach Dye...

So 2020 can suck a dick, but seems like some of yall have had it alot worse. praying we all get a better 2nd half of the year.
