North Texas transfer WR Jyaire Shorter is visiting tomorrow.

Only had 23 catches last year, but 11 went for TDs. Also has the highest YPC in FBS last year at 27 YPC.

how? this dude may be here one year. Geriner still has four years.

Not trying to kill your dreams, but the likelihood of Holden ever being the guy at Auburn aren't that high.

So you are basically asking whether or not it's smart to bring in a guaranteed starter over potentially losing a guy who probably won't ever start.

Couple of small notes about our new QB1.

Not visiting, but will move in next week. Has been apartment hunting for a few days now.

WRs (Players in general I assume) we're home on a break. They are coming back early, May 16th, to start working with Thorne.

It bothered me we didn't address the QB room in the winter (I know,... reasons) but Freeze had so competently delivered in the last minute high school class and most of the other portal positions that I decided I would keep my mouth shut and let him cook. And cook he did. I'm sure he will soon address the WR room.

Under previous regime I got accustomed to anything that looked like it might be an unaddressed problem turning out to be an actual problem. I feel strongly those days are over.

I just hope this doesn't run Geriner off. I think he will be a really good college QB when it's all said and done.

Totally agree. We need him to stay and see if he can develop. He could still be the guy this year before its over and done with.

What is sad is that I am a little happy that this kid transferred to us. That's how far we have fallen. Excited that a 3* QB from the Big 10 who basically lost his job transfers here.

I will be glad when we get back to recruiting at a high level again. I think it will happen. Not sure if Hugh will do it but I certainly hope he does.

The last couple of years has been discouraging for all of us. Even the ones who wont admit it.

I will however support Thorne. I hope this dude lights it up for all of us.

About this part specifically, Hoke wrote today that he won that job but chose to transfer.

Exiting the spring, Thorne remained as QB1 according to most observers and media reports. That’s important to note. Thorne’s transfer wasn’t due to losing out on a starting position, but rather seemingly wanting to explore new opportunities.

I might not like Robby as a QB, but I am 100% sure that he is a better teammate than Finley.

Thorne did not lose his job LMAO.

Also, Bama did contact him when they found out he was entering.

MSU WR Keon Coleman is expected to visit on Sunday.

You know, because he left MSU because he didn't like Thorne .

Robby is a baby and his mom is a huge problem. He can say what he wants on Twitter; this won't boil over well in real life.

I'm not even talking about how well liked he is. I just mean from a putting his head down and working and not feeling entitled point. Ashford tweets out iron sharpens iron. Finley would have tweeted another Jesus picture.

I agree that he's way too emotional, but I would rather have someone that cares but struggles controlling it vs someone who quits on the team and generally acts like they don't care or are entitled.

Nice to have a kid in that room who likes to compete. RA won my respect in that Bama game.

TJ just couldn’t handle a competitive culture and needed to move on. Not a good culture fit for CHF.

4* OT Kevin Heywood will OV to Auburn per 247.

The article doesn't mention a date, but a poster said it'll be June 16.

He'll OV UK June 9th followed by Auburn then USC on the 23rd
