It’s coming and you know it. Kid loves bammer for whatever reason. Can’t fault him after seeing our offense last year.

I'm sure they're pulling out all the stops to get him to cancel the Auburn visit. Because they know if he makes that visit they aren't signing him.

But that was kept under the table a lot better than “ChexMix” on tigerdroppings having knowledge of the amounts and incentive bonuses attached to RWs NIL. I just believe he’s full of shite and backing off because other people are.

That's a different story, but offering a player incentive bonuses is quite plausible to me. I don't know what Chex knows or not, but he isn't wrong about the money being offered as far as NIL and signing bonuses. Kids are getting paid bonuses just to show up on campus.

And I am not defending Chex, but going off what I know personally about the NIL amounts being offered. Offering a player like RW over a mil and some signing bonus is very likely.

Well our money guys are looking at it like, man, do we really want to spend that kind of money on a WR when we already signed a fricking amazing WR class or do we spend that money and secure the lines from next year. Its a balancing act.

I’m hoping our money guys aren’t making roster management decisions

Cant be too displeased with them if they are. Top 10 finishes are always welcomed in recruiting

What cracks me up was all the bama fans saying how Auburn was buying their class and the amounts of NIL they are paying some of the recruits will cause unrest in the locker room

Thats exactly why I would be wary of the amount paid out, or be prepared to pay triple that to keep the current squad happy. If they get him, expect some portal entries in the spring for bama, and not the ones they want to leave.

Stop letting your emotions rule your thought process. Remember when Dallas traded Walker for draft picks.

eta: plus we are in it for other 5 star WRs for the 2025 class as well

And that my friends is why they are successful businessmen. Set your price and your willing to walk away price before you sit down at the table.

Why wouldnt they, Im not being a smartarse, they are paying for them. I would bet they even specify certain funding for certain players apart from their funding of the general football fund.

Now the question is, as Kiffin predicted when this started, do those same boosters put undue pressure on the coach to play those specific players they paid for. I think of the wad of cash set aside for Manning "when he starts" there is gonna be huge, huge pressure to play that kid and continue playing him regardless of his performance. Which is a reason KJ should think hard about his choice of schools....unlesss Juju comes home then KJ is free to choose.

Shareholders don’t run a company. They fund it. The CEO runs the company.
