Kinda feel like we're playing with house money. Cain and Simmons aren't bad either. I'm a big fan of Simmons his potential is through the roof.

We really are. And do not sleep on Cain. That kid can get a seam and he is gone. Really like this group. Add Williams, look out

Win-win either way. We sign Williams we get a great player. We don’t Bama has had to play defense to hold him for 6 months taking away effort from other players. Flipped the script

The script has been flipped.

It's amazing what a difference giving a shite about recruiting has done.

Im with ya Smuphy. Kid has really good vision when running full speed, anticipation, judging gaps, quite the gift.

I also heard Jason Caldwell talking about all around athleticism, and to boot, no pun intended, he could probably be a punter for many P5 schools. Can you imagine, he punts there will never be a return team for fear he would take off.

Simmons is also a stud Safety. Don’t be surprised if that’s where he ends up.

Regarding the portal and Freeze comments. I think the players in the portal have changed as well. Last year most visited schools before making a final decision. I think Freeze was taken aback when our 2 top OL targets just signed without taking visits.

Pickens are getting kind of slim in the portal, if we have to wait til spring when the next window opens there will be some tough adjustments very quickly to be productive this fall.

I could easily see Simmons at Safety as well. I think that is where he has the most potential. If Ryan Williams signs with us, it would make the move easier also

I don’t think one should be offered without a visit. Got to talk to someone to know if he’s a fit or not

Attalla, I think thats what happened with Travis, the DT we signed out of JC, late late signee, shows up the last possible day to campus and fat apparently. Spent the best part of the season trying to get in shape while getting paid. Kinda leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

Ironically it sounds like he is finally in shape and should get plenty of snaps today.

Quientrail Jamison-Travis "Bobby"... That is a dude at 6-4 320. Hopefully he pans out was the #1 Juco prospect from Iowa. Definitely should be able to hold down the middle, possibly nose.

And talk to everyone.

Not to jump on the Saban bandwagon, but he supposedly seeks out feedback from team leaders on what they from recruits, not that we don't also do the same.

(never heard)

They announced at the beginning of the game that Hugh Freeze announce Peyton Thorne being next year starter. I don’t know if they were bullshitting or not, but they said it. If that’s true, people here were right that we are not looking for a portal quarterback at all.
