Ive mentioned before, but someone will challenge SEC on that ruling, the rest of the NCAA is in alignment.
The most likely time to want to transfer is after spring when you see where you stand, and if you are in an SEC program, the logical move would be to one of the schools that you had on your list....most likely another SEC school. And the league is blocking that for the benefit of the schools to the detriment of the players.
Vandagriff should transfer somewhere. A third year on the bench with a junior in front of you and Bobo's golden boy behind you. Dont let your ego get in the way of business.
Maalik at Texas is in a similar position. Manning may not be ready this year, but whoever paid the big bucks to get him there will be threatening, along with his booster friends to boycott the funding of NIL unless they put him in.

What I read is he is still competing to be QB1 and is staying

Vandergriff will be UGA QB1 by mid-season.

Yep, that ship has sailed

There was some chance of it happening back in Jan, but Kirby sniffed it out.

If he has us as the next option, he should stay and do after the yr.
If I was AU, be looking at Gunner as Vandergriff May take over and Riola (so) would be next man up

I’m not that familiar with Sterling Dixon and as I understand he is a possible flip candidate.
But if he’s not an edge guy and we and all the other intend to move him to insider backer is he more valuable there then Riddick and/or Shaw in state?

I think Dixon is playing AU. But the move would be ILB. We need multiple ILB’s in this class so it’s not a one or the other proposition.

With NIL, I believe this will happen a lot to all schools. It will be just another thing to deal with in the college free agent market that we now have.

Riddick and Shaw are inside guys as well.
In my experience it’s easier to move closer to the ball. Almost impossible to move further away from the ball. Yes I’m sure there are exceptions but generally moving closer is easier.

Well, I don’t think Freeze is as dumb as previous HCs when it comes to recruiting. He’ll take the first player that is close to the same talent and move on. He won’t be scrambling for iffy 3* at the last minute.

What is the scoop on Jordan Ross, dont hear a lot about him like we do a lot of the other in state fellas, so no traction there I guess.
