With 18-21 year old kids. If you're a good coach you can build that character in most kids. If you only recruit character, your just saying you're too lazy to develop that in the players.

It’s not laziness in player development, it’s an excuse for losing highly touted guys on the recruiting trail. Maybe the oldest excuse for recruiting failures.
