Freeze wants a popping day on signing day. Wants the National media talking about the class. So I agree the only one we are solid with is Amaris Williams but I think we get 2-3 of the 5 we are looking at. Just a feeling no evidence to back up that statement.
Ryan Willam’s will be a signee in Feb

I know that Bolden had a dust up on twitter with McCray and Williams. I heard JLee and Pinkston mention it but they didn't elaborate.

If Thorton misses on Echols again then next class pretty much has to be a homerun. I like his coaching, but if he can't get the guys in here then we have to find someone who can.

There'll be guys moving around who haven't yet figured it out.
Might not be top shelf, but serviceable considering our need, cheap(er) and plentiful once the glut hits.

‘25 we are in good shape for a very good OL class. But I agree we have to close the deal on those guys. Next cycle has to include OL, interior DL, CB, and QB difference makers.
QB is going to be very important in that class. Montgomery and Lacey I think we lead for both currently. I personally think you try to land both but would need to have that discussion with each recruit but if not choose one and get them in the bag

Between high school and the portal, Thornton has signed 10 OL in the past year.
His evaluation of talent, not one miss on portal OL....unlike our receivers who were a bust for the most part.
HS evals, well Connor Lew was a 3 star when he started recruiting him. Echols who was a lowly 3 star when he started going after him way back when he was coaching at Ole Miss.
Coaching, he took Stutts a four year nothing and had him pulling like Usain Bolt.
We only graduate 4 this year, and we have Seth with 3 years to play and Carter committed. Echols I hold out hope, I think Edwin is gone. Get a couple of portal and we will be fine.
And we are off to a roaring start with 25 as corch said. And Id call corch out if he wasnt being truthful (cause we dont even have a Sonic in the entire Caribbean).

He is a very involved player recruiter so I’m sure he has heard or been told by some recruits what they will do. However, players aren’t always the best judge of what guys will End up actually doing. They can get fooled just as much as anyone. So, take it with a grain of salt. However, it is very encouraging to see that level of optimism regardless.

High school OL is disappointing yet again. A couple of weeks ago I was honestly elated with the idea of a Carter, Echols, and Edwin OL class. That’s three quality dudes in a year we didn’t need volume.

I remember a few weeks back KJ supposedly told the staff he could get LJ McCray talking.....and less than a week later LJ had made a trip back to Auburn.
Pink said the guy grew up a Florida fan (LJ), and he really wants to play there but sees the whole thing kind of imploding (insert Bo Nix). Maybe maybe LJ thinks with his head and not his heart and choses the good guys, KJ flips and they all do play together.....dont pull that ball from my Lucy and chop my buzz

I think it’s just speculation that LSU is trending after his visit. Could be the case, but I don’t think anything happened per se. Just recruiting

He visited LSU last weekend and is now trending there.
I think he likes Auburn a lot but I think distance is becoming a deal breaker
