And to clarify, I mean after all the smoke clears it always seems “they” knew. I can’t figure out how we always seem to get “played”. I can’t remember the last time one of our reporters had some legit insider info.

And for the record… I don’t claim to know anything and I’m not an expert. I’m just here for the grabass, shenanigans and free hors d'oeuvres… and I don’t have too big of a problem with the bamers on this board I’m sure jang and stiddy are great guys in real life and we’d all get along fine… carry on!

Meh, it's all in good fun. If anyone here leaves these discussions with any anger towards each other, they are taking it all too seriously. The discussions are entertaining to say the least. And I have gotten to know a couple of folk here that are good solid people..

I’ve been a freeze supporter since the beginning. I was ecstatic we got him. His recruiting was slow for a while but obviously has picked up and I’m pleased. I have an excellent source on RW and enjoy watching Chex (who has no source) chicken out yet again. Perry Thompson had Saban for multiple visits recently and there is some smoke there.
Where’s the trolling?

You know the picture you posted was the same visit correct?
Head coaches are limited to number of in homes so I don’t think he can even do “multiple visits recently”.

I will give you Saban visiting him means they are at least trying which will always give me some doubt. However the only smoke anywhere else are Twitter trolls. They’re trolling out of revenge for the perception that we’re trolling with the RW stuff.
I check the Bama recruiting thread every now and then. They don’t even mention Perry which means the BOL guys aren’t talking about him. Again doesn’t mean it’s not happening but seems unlikely.

The BOL guys have mentioned Perry Thompson. None of them have gone so far to say they think he’ll flip (the mods). But they’re certainly keeping him in the discussion of who to watch for on ESD.
That being said, time is running out for Bama if they’re trying to make an impact still. He had both Freeze and Saban for in-home visits and he’s right back to Auburn this weekend before the dead period begins.
Will I be surprised if he flips? Not at all. Like we’ve been saying, we’ve seen this story before. But nothing I’ve seen that’s happening is overly alarming to me. All typical for a kid that’s kept his recruitment going.
Riddick, Phillips, and a bunch of our other top guys aren’t getting in-homes from other coaches because they’re EE’s and some of them are moving to Auburn already. JLee says those guys, DJ Barber, and maybe someone else are expecting to be at practice tomorrow

We've gone in home with a few guys that we aren't likely to get. You gotta try til time runs out.

Until we actually get Perry, Coleman, and (possibly) Ryan Williams these dudes will be on the ultimate edge. It's been so long since we got this many recruits that Bama wanted. Maybe Keldrick last year but you'd have to go back pretty far to find 7-8 guys that picked Auburn when they had COMMITTBLE offers from Bama. Bo Nix was a legacy, and Tank wasn't as high as Trey Sanders on their board. This class is special

Cam’s in the All star game in MS so he definitely wouldn’t be there tomorrow but he’s supposed to be there Sunday.

Cam Coleman is expected in Auburn this weekend according to Clemente on 247. He declined the AL/MS all star invite.
