Daniel Hill.....ohhhhh....aahhhhhh now ya talkin.

Phat and Hill both swapping out at RB. Forget this, use the big back and bring in a smaller back for change of pace. How about we bludgeon you with one, and bring in the next to finish the job.

Seriously, this kid runs with a mission and half his friggin highlight reel is playing split out. His QB is terrible so every ball is 50/50 and he goes up and gets them.

This will now make the top three kids in MS visiting in the last couple of weeks, Im liking it, Im liking it a lot.

I think Hill wants to be a running back and some others are still pitching to him you can be a running back or linebacker.

Seemed to panic a little yesterday when Phat committed because he probably thought we were gonna wait for him to be the big back in the class. Just my opinion obviously

He’s probably still a take though. Just my opinion not based on any insider info or anything.

I agree I think Riley or Hill are definitely takes. I’m not sure we take 2 unless it either of those or the smaller back out of Mississippi can’t think of his name. I know Royal is out there. I think we can find a smaller speed back as a PWO if we think we need one.

I thought Caddy already stated we’re taking two?

He did say 2. Just think it’s a fluid number.

Hunter probably declares after this season.

That leaves
Battie
Alston
Sean Jackson
Jeremiah Cobb
Phat

Plus you have to have a spot for Henderson the following year. With a path to playing time. Like I mentioned Hill or Riley are takes. Not sure we take a second just to get a body.

Isn't Battie a senior? Wouldn't be shocked if Jackson ends up transferring next year too just to play a bit more before his football days are up.

I saw someone else mention it elsewhere, but Hill is apparently kind of slow?

And we still have Colton Hoods brother as an ultimate fall back option at RB. I'm guessing we get Riley though.

I doubt Sean transfers. Battie I think still will have a year of eligibility. So he might declare as well.

Hill doesn’t appear slow to me but I don’t have numbers on him seems to have more burst then Phat. Phat seems to have slightly better vision.

I’m not sure the interest from the staff on Brandon Hood. I think he got injured late last season so probably want to see if he does the 7v7 season or see him in game action before pressing. Could possibly take Hood as just an athlete and see if he fits returner/slot/speed back role.

Plus we are in a weird space. We are at 90 when the summer enrollee’s get on campus. Need to cull probably 7-8 players.

Get a QB, WR, IOL, and probably another edge.

I would assume S. Jackson and Levant might have to give a scholarship if we are in number crunch for the season.

Someone posted on ON3, so I don't know if its true, but they said his PR in the 100m was 12.35.. if true that's fairly slow. Could be wrong or old though.

I agree. I think he's basically a if we miss out on all of our others guys option right now. Still a good player to have as a plan C or D though.

I hope we can get Riley or Hill.

I think Jonesy mentioned Riley is top of our board and Bama is looking elsewhere, they are only taking one, and he is not in their top two.

Cobb and Henderson would bookend this class so you dont need a small shifty back in this class.

And I also think the game has shifted from someone having to be the man to tote the rock. God bless him look at Tre Mason and what carrying the ball 46 times in a game will do to your career, and your health.

All I know, it certainly is nice to be in the hunt for a handful versus praying one comes our way eh????

So Steve Witlfong at 24/7 claims (in his opinion) Cam Coleman’s top 5 is Tennessee, uat, thUGA, USCheat, and Clemson.

Yeah, it’s funny because Auburn guys think it’s between Auburn, Texas A&M, and LSU.
