I’m fine not taking a rb this class. Use the spot for a more in need position. If some absolute game changer decides he wants to come, go for it, but otherwise we have a very good rb room right now

I usually don’t disagree, but we most likely have our entire 4-deep returning. Plus Sean Jackson unless he transfers. You are right that you never know what can happen, but if that spot in this class gets used by a DL or OL, I won’t be upset.

It’s delusional that we’re 9th in the SEC and have all the appearance of being unable to fill out a full recruiting class?
More below average transfer players aren’t going to turn this trainwreck around.

My gamethread behavior is fine. I'm not the one melting about texas state.
Edit:) This season has given me zero reason to believe our expectations are off the rails. I said many times we are on schedule.So far there is exactly no reason to melt.

Better to save the scholarships for transfer portal players than players that will never play. Gus used to fill classes up with 4* kids who weren’t worth a sh*t and celebrate it.

So with a month to go what does it look like:
Kahlil House is a probable flip and we get the Favor fella.
Brien Taylor out of JC and Demonta Waller as a probable flip.
Robinson out of JC and Patterson as a possible flip.
Ryan williams, hopeful hopeful reclass to the good guys.
One of the two TEs will probably flip to us.
Downside, Carter and Lindsey both have Texas sniffing around hard. KJ Bolden I just dont think he flips to us.
I know Im missing some, who else?

Who are we replacing? Could be nobody. I could have sworn I read Battie only had one year of eligibility but suddenly now he is listed as a junior.
Do we want to replace anybody? Maybe Alston? Cobb is a stud. We have so much RB talent that we just need to maintain, baby.

Phat decommitting isn’t a big issue. But we are still looking at RBs just not looking for bodies looking for guys that are potential difference makers. Riley, Hill, and the Clemson commit are still possibilities.
It’s gonna be a wild last month or so and then crazy going into the portal window.

Posted this earlier but may have been lost, but yeah that’s the On3 update. Hill and Eziomume are less likely than Riley now according to JLee. But probability might point toward no RB at this point

Yep, plus if Hunter bolts or someone else you can find a guy in the portal late spring for depth
