Awesome recruiting weekend. I didn't believe it was possible to flip Riddick and Thompson a month ago after Cameron Coleman committed to A&M. Yet, here we are.

We have a lot more elite commitments heading our way over the next few months.

KJ Bolden seems to be the biggest name remaining and it would be unreal to land him. From reading other websites it sounds like FSU insiders are confident and I know that he grew up a nole fan. That's where my money is but it's hard to count out Auburn with the way Freeze has been recruiting.

Would it be possible to update OP with reported commitment dates since there are quite a few questions about when the croots will announce?

Kamarion Franklin Quotes via Clemente/247:
quote:

"It went good," Franklin said. "I just got the feel of the atmosphere. Got to talk and spend the day with Coach (Jeremy) Garrett. I enjoyed it. Getting to talk to Coach (Hugh) Freeze one-on-one, spend time with him today. Come and get another feel before it goes dead.

quote:

"I got a great relationship with Coach Garrett so I just wanted to come get another feel for what it's like. I've been to other places multiple times, I haven't really been here a whole bunch but I've been here a couple of times."

quote:

"Just that I'm a huge priority," Franklin said about Auburn's message. "They're trying to change the program. They want me to be the face and be the program-changer."

quote:

"That's what I like," Franklin said. "Auburn's like the underdog in my process. Not a lot of people talk about Auburn but I feel strong and good about Auburn."

quote:

What is it that gives him that feeling?

"The people," Franklin said. "The head coach, Coach Garrett, they're both from Mississippi so the Mississippi pipeline goes through here so it feels kind of homey. The player, I hung out with the players and it's just a good environment overall. He (Garrett) just gets me. He understands me and he knows where I come from and I know where he come from. We just connect real good."

quote:

Franklin said "by the end of September" he plans to be committed

quote:

When it comes down to make a decision, what are the most important factors?

"My development, who going to develop me," Franklin said. "Am I comfortable at the school? Does it feel like home? NIL is not a huge factor. I'm not looking for the school who can offer the biggest dollar, but I can't let a school give me a discount."

Edit: Clemente posted Kamarion will OV for the UMass game since he wants to make a decision by the end of September

Mind if I throw out some TOP100 names and you guys give our chances on landing them? I figured this would be a good transition into the next set of commits maybe.. :)

Bradley Shaw LB

Kamarion Franklin DL

LJ McCray DL

DeAndre Carter OT

Zaquan Patterson S

Jordon Seaton OL

Kamarion sounds like a good chance of happening.

Carter
Shaw
Franklin
Patterson
McRay
Seaton

And I don’t know much about Seaton

Patterson is another guy who’s top 5 at S everywhere but On3, where he’s 30th

They only have 2 people doing all their rankings, supposedly. One is a Bama graduate. ??

This is probably close to right if the tea leave we all are hearing are correct.

However I think Coach G schools us on Franklin and probably Jordan Ross as well. And we know Rodney likes his big dogs to walk late. And I'm not sure how hard we are after Ross.

Haven’t heard Ross mentioned in ages. Don’t think we’re active in that one

I think Ross made it pretty clear from the git go that he was not interested in staying in state?

Franklin, with my thick orange and blue glasses. He spends good quality one on one time with Auburn this week. He takes one more visit to Miami and immediately comes back to Auburn. I think he said "Boss I wanna come but dont make me look foolish on the NIL piece, here is what Miami is offering, make it close and Im coming home".

Thats my story and Im stickin to it.

Isn’t their NIL tied up in all of these Ruiz investigations as well?

Based on Twitter eye emojis it sounds like a commitment or 2 may happen tomorrow

THe U says they have minimized the impact of losing his revenue stream of money to NIL, now its his company that the feds are looking into, stock has dropped to 25 cents a share.

The school got busted because he bought a meal for those cute twins on the basketball team before they committed.

If I was a player I would ask for my NIL upfront....in gold bullion
