Nah. They were coming together. This wasn’t an either or thing.

Dont know if Cam Coleman to A&M is related to Perry Thompson. It is pretty random, though. A few of his teammates made commitments today but I don’t think this was on anyone’s radar.
I’ll say it for Coleman who has committed elsewhere, and I’ll say it for Riddick, Thompson, Bolden, and any of these top guys, it’s not over until they sign. Especially not with 5 months left and NIL involved. And especially not with a new staff that’s got a penchant for making things happen late.
And that’s good and bad for us, IMO
Edit: I do want make clear, though, that this is a big miss IMO

This comes up a lot. On3 is like $1 a month. Get it or don’t, but it’s probably not because of the occasional misses
We do a good job putting whatever information is available here. I don’t blame anyone for not bothering with the hassle

NIL for Coleman no doubt. Will we match? That’s the question - but maybe with Perry seeming likely we held off and will match at NSD if needed

I've not been keeping up as much this year but it looks like we have a chance to have a solid class... are we really looking at a possible top 10?

This is one of those bone-jarring commitments that makes you question everything you think you know. Coaches got played. Need to get these guys wrapped up sooner…gonna take more $$$.

I would definitely say Coleman’s commitment is shaky. NIL will win this one in the end. Have to remember Craig and Nix are friends as well.
I know one thing if the Central kids aren’t interested in Auburn they need to be upfront. And we need to be upfront with the coaches there that we will stop recruiting the school.

I agree with the sentiment. They’re tops on the list of in state schools we get the most drama from.
Goes both ways. We did a bad job under Harsin recruiting that school and Auburn moved on from Red Morgan in this class
Not totally convinced there’s a huge issue there and I don’t think Coleman’s recruitment is over but this is another Phenix City kid we’ve lost, at least for now

Whats up with the addidas stuff on Barber's graphic? Sucks about Coleman, maybe Auburn didn't feel the need or have the resources to pony up for both him and Perry.
