We have a better class than we did last year, top 5 to 8 pending on the site and all you guys are doing is jabbering about Evans. I say frick him and the charger he's about to ride out in. WAR DAMN EAGLE and let's take a win at Bama's house in November as payback.

I really dislike our fanbase at times. We have what is a top 3 D class in the history of our school, and people jump off the deep end. Did we forget we flipped what, two bama recruits this year? I need to leave this place for a few days.

Looks like this is the best class we've had since at least 2011(that's as far back as I looked) on 247

According to the 247 composite which doesn't go back too far. This is slightly better than the 2011 class and going back to the Tubberville years is our highest rated class.

Although I have some questions about their composite team rankings for past years because some of the team pages were missing recruits or had them ranked wrong. I'm assuming the data is incomplete from the years before 247 existed.

I was going to look at the other sites but then I saw that Scout had Kiehl Frazier as a five star quarterback back in 2011 and I've decided that I don't care about anything anymore.

I think we did as good a job as anyone in the nation at filling our needs with talented players. The recruiting sites need to start figuring that into their formulas. If you have 10 5* players at a position signing 5 more top players at the same position, is not likely to have near the effect of signing them without many top players there to start with.

@ESPN_Colin: Bama fans, congrats on the super high schoolers. They will matter eventually. None will stop Malzhan & Marshall NEXT year.

Ive stayed off the boards because of my personal meltdown over Evans. Not because we lost him but that he seems to have manipulated and flat out lied to about anyone he could lie too, the coaches, His friends, even calling two Auburn recruits to watch him commit, that's not the recruiting game, it's just disgusting and seems to have been orchestrated.

I think all of us are happy with this class. It is a very loyal class that caused us no worries about anyone flipping and a lot of them didn't even take a lot of visits. And it is one of our highest quality classes ever and maybe our best defensive class ever.

I don't have a problem with people or myself being pissed about Evans. frick him. I will stay pissed at him and not act like I hope he succceeds. The reason is partially due to past problems with the lb position and Bama pulling guys we need to rot on the bench, all the way back to petey smith. And part of it was what appears to be some aasshole moves by him. So frick him.

Oh my sweet Christ. Do you people actually believe this shite? Do you honest to God think that 17-18 year old developed a master plan to frick with coaches who have been friendly and cordial to him? I doubt anyone is that malicious. Especially with how busy they are, what with class, studying, chasing skirts, working out, hanging out with friends, and enjoying being a care free teenager. Give it a rest. The kid wanted to go to another school. If it was UCLA you wouldn't think twice about it. Some of you need to get lives.

I DO NOT necessarily believe it was orchestrated this year, but I DO find it weird that such strange things keep happening with recruits involved with Auburn and Alabama...that almost always goes Alabama's way.

TJ Yeldon, Dee Liner, Cyrus Kouandjio, Brent Calloway, Reuben Foster, and now RaShaan Evans. These were not your normal, everyday recruitments of players...something weird happened in each. Had this happened a few times, sure, I would brush it off. However, now it seems to be a trend that may or may not keep going.

I just find it weird.
