I am the one who trumpets RS years, especially for OL/DL but looking at Braden Smith and seeing we have a summer with him, I think he may give a serious push at playing time somewhere. Don't think he wins it by any means but the kid is damn huge and aggressive

Next year if we need 2 linebackers and a Star we need to plan on signing 4 guys.

No way... Braden's coming from Kansas high school football... there will be a steeper than normal learning curve for him.
FWIW, I can't wait for a couple years seeing braden knocking rashaan on his but... and foster too.

The bunker has been down for maitenence pretty much all day. If I was the one paying for the subscription I use, I would cancel it

Trent Dilfer is gushing about Sean White. Says he should be playing for the Seahawks because he has the same mentality.

i just don't think you waste a year on what will amount to a handful of plays. Let him redshirt then compete for the open RG spot next spring (like what Kozan did this past year).
plus, if you want an extra OT to play that spot, use someone who's older. Also, parks being back is going to be a nice addition to the H-back position... basically three guys who are all good at their position -- fulse, Uzomah, and Parks.

Ive had issues with Rivals since December. I went to re-up my annual and they drafted my account twice. When I called them to have the second one refunded, they said they don't offer refunds on year memberships and they'll just apply it to my account to give me two years. I escalated up to the supervisor and they told me the same thing.
So I reported them to the BBB and claimed fraud with my bank.

I agree. Bammer outplayed Auburn on the party. Kirby showing up and Foster being there negated Malzahn's in home and having the last contact. In other words that trumped having our commits with him on his OV. Gus and Auburn did not close the deal. I don't think he ever felt comfortable with the position we were selling. KS really did a sell job to the dad and RE on their position was better than ours for his future. JMO

My reading on it, based on comments from the family and RE's actions, is that RE has some desire to get away from home and blaze his own trail and is also sold on Bama being a better path to the NFL.

Evans called Roberts and Mitchell this morning to tell them to come, he was choosing AU. Also called the staff and told them as well. Heard from two different people with staff connections. Gus is pissed.
