The UGA- AU game will be fun. I probably shouldn't have made my last rant thread. #ShotsFired

This is what I mean, Adams is going to go off. GC, I can just about Guarantee we will have an interior Pass Rush this year. We have SR's that know this is it. Blackson, Wright and Bradley along with Lambert, Adams, Lawrence and Daniel. All of those guys have the ability. One or more are going to make a name for themselves this year. You can question me if you want, but to act as if this can't happen...well, that will make it that much better when it does.

Not really. Not a single one of us had any idea that Fairley would be the beast he was after the spring game.
We have some guys with great talent. Wright or Blackson or even Ben Bradley could be a elite pass rusher. As could
Daniel or Owens from the outside...
Time will tell and we won't know till game 4

Ditto Daniel goes under the radar to be such a highly rated player. He played a ton last year too. Wright has that same ability like Fairly did to slice through the line and make rbs change direction in the backfield.
I really think our run defense is going to be beastly

Lashlee says they're comfortable playing Peyton Barber and Roc in the opener

Order of LBs according to EJ:
1 & 2. Frost and McKinzy
3. Swain
4. Tre Williams
Also Whitaker and Blackson are the starting DTs. Safe to assume this means Wright is playing a lot of DE. Bradley and Adams most likely 2nd string DTs.
ETA: never mind. I guess Adams is at DE now. Didn't see that coming.

Johnson and Lashlee noteworthy info
-Very pleased w/ Tre Williams but will be careful how he uses Tre early
-2nd team LBs: Swain (Mike Backer) Tre (Will)
-Was pleased with DeShaun Davis but injured hammy hurt his progress
-Cam Toney had a good camp but Tre beat him out
-Rudy still #1 @ Booundary Safety but both he and Moncrief will play a lot
-Lambert and Lawrence progressing well. Both getting about half of 2nd team reps
-Whit and Angelo likely starting DTs
-will rotate 8-9 on the DL
-Monty and Gabe working more at DE but will move inside on pass downs
Lashlee
-Likes how Nick and JJ are practicing
-Really like what Roc and Barber are doing behind CAP and Corey a lot. Both may play Saturday.
-Will make a call on whether to RS Kam (Bubba) Pettway by week 3 or 4
-feels the O is good enough to take whatever a D gives them run or pass wise.
-Drago, Roc, & Truitt are 3 Freshman that could play against Arky this week.

I can't lie, I would love to see Whit come back this year and have a great year. I have always like him..
Ben Bradley could be a beast if he gets the playing time.

DL rotations are gonna be huge for us Saturday... it's gonna be hot and arky wants to possess the ball.

Monty at DE is interesting. I assume it is due to our depth at tackle and lack of it at DE.
Glad to hear he will move inside on passing downs. We have still got to develop a good pass rusher from the DE position.

So our starting D-line is:
Wright-Whittaker-Blackson-Adams?
RIP SEC O-lines

Hopefully Monty can be as effective as Melvin Ingram was in that role for USC

Wright-Whittaker-Blackson-Owens for most games but I could see Monty or Elijah starting against the power run piggies instead of Owens.
