off field roll for Caddy off the table now, imo. I'm ready to get rid of anyone that had anything to do with Gus/Harsin Tenure.

We can keep Zac, he puts in the work on the recruiting trail

Not to mention that 3 of the coaches I listed took jobs here, and then left like a week later.

Not as much as you’d think. Crime covered up some of Zac’s deficiencies.

If any of the stuff I’ve heard today is true. They’re both gone and I don’t think anyone would be that upset by it.

On3 had a very vague thread about it apparently, but it’s not looking good for either of them.

So why would McGriff leave if he knew these changes were coming (Roberts fired etc)
Also, I know they are bringing in Kelly but with Zac gone who would potentially replace him? I have heard some TRob talk but would there be potential for McGriff to come back?

I’d think it depends on who the DC hire would want.

Yea, the whole crime situation is weird and I don’t have an answer for that one. I’d take him back in a heartbeat.

Should dameyune craig get another shot at OC now? Someone give me the quick and dirty as to why and why he should not be considered, please. Thank you sirs.

Good question. It does seem odd. Crime and Freeze have worked together for years dating back to OM, so it seems unlikely they have a beef with each other. Crime is a journeyman and it seems he has worked with everyone and is pretty well liked in coaching circles.

Only thing I can figure is maybe Freeze wasn't certain RR was out before TAMU called.

Also, a guy on AUF said that Crime and RR actually threw hands at practice. Would love to see that film.

If Ron Roberts was a problem to the culture, then Dameyune absolutely would be. Great player and recruiter, but not a great person.

You don’t remember when Craig got into an altercation with LSU’s coaches at A&M and he had to be restrained by players?

I don't understand the Zac or Caddy thing at all. What exactly have they done wrong? And where is this info about then being fired coming from anyway?

Haven’t heard much about Zac, but McKinnell from the Auburn Live show said Caddy’s future was uncertain with Auburn as of last night.

Bama fans are slobbering over TRob.

I wouldn’t mind having him but I don’t understand why they think he’s a slam dunk? Weren’t his defenses pretty bad his first go round as a DC?

Hard to tell. He was DC under Muschamp at both Florida and South Carolina. Some of those were pretty good defenses, but Muschamp probably had a lot to do with game planning and play calling.

he played the race card when he left. He burned a lot of bridge at Auburn because of it.

Just to clarify, it was Hoke that said it. McKinnell is their admin/intern guy that handles fielding all the calls for the call in show. That’s why it showed up as his name.
