Sexton floating rumors.

We would be stupid to believe that Gus’s salary does not already exceed his results.

Let him go if Sexton say, “Arkansas is offering 58 million over 7 years.”

Let him go.

It’s a ruse.

Feldman says Malzahn and Norvell are the two leading candidates.

Both could easily wait for better gigs though I’m sure Gus wouldn’t mind the break from high expectations and hot seats.

Literally nothing else that indicates he is even interested in the job

Bigger question, Gus would owe us 7 million to leave. Would we waive that?

He’d have to beat Georgia and Bama to even approach that conversation. The likelihood of that happening are akin to winning the lottery.

If that was the only hang up we’d have to.

Arkansas can not afford Gus.

They are just now trying to get out from under the Bert contract.

They will be paying tons to Chad Morris.

They can’t pay 20 plus million for Gus’ buyout AND then pay the 6-10 year deal that Gus would demand in order to leave Auburn.

It won’t happen.

The only stupid move would be for our AD to negotiate the buyout down to help Gus leave. Make him pay us for the contract he created or keep coaching.
