We can win at home against UT w/out Broome but it would more fun to have him.

Don't want him to force coming back, play for 2 minutes and reinjury and prolong his recovery. Gotta have Broome if we have any hope of knocking off Bama on the road.

Nobody is forcing him back on the court. He's medically cleared and if he can go he will. Im expecting to see him play

His sprain wasn't as bad as most seem to think. His momentum was taking him in the direction he turned his ankle so it didn't get his full weight on it like if you were trying to change direction or stepped down onto something.

Shoulders and ankles... they both mend differently for everyone of us.

We all saw Brady Cook look completely healed in 2 quarters.... not a limp and they won... because we know which injures to drug and which to not.

It would be nice to not get reminded of the football season that never happened in the basketball conversation… 2024 is the new 2012.

I don’t think they would play him if putting him out there too early would drastically increase risk of re-injury. I say this knowing next to nothing about orthopedics and ankles but I do trust the people involved in making the decisions

He’s been cleared by doctors. It’s just about comfort and pain at this point. So it’s completely up to Broome if he feels he can go or not.

This game is big for his draft grade. He’s still pretty low down in mock drafts. I would think if he can go, he would want to prove that he can beat a top 5 team.

Cleared for what? To play? Cleared to walk without a boot?

Well he can’t play unless he’s been medically cleared. If he’s practicing and a gametime decision, then it’s just up to him.

Pretty sure either Stephen or Bruce said he has been cleared but it’s just what Johni feels at this point

Johni will know for sure if he can go tomorrow. He has to balance being a competitor, which he is, over being there for his team during the murderous stretch they are facing. These games will be very physical, especially with Auburn being ranked this high.
Those upcoming road games aren't for the weak at heart, mind, or body.

If there is any question about whether he's ready or not I'd just rather see him sit out against Tenn for that reason. Just let him come back against Ole Miss if he doesn't feel comfortable.

If he can play 10-15 mins it's still a plus.

I hear what you're saying but he has proven that he can beat a top 5 team.
