Coach O is unemployed

As in, the players make jokes about how little football knowledge the guy actually has. If that's the case, I'm not sure I want just the ability to recruit with little coaching ability.
Would love having Coach O on the DL
Maybe you all already know this or can refute it, grain of salt, blah blah blah.

Or, hear me out, they just can't understand him because of the language barrier, and Coach O is actually the smartest man in the entire world.
Who can say?

Damn. That really sucks. He was solid on the recruiting trail and I think he did a very good job with his group re: on the field performance. Our pass rush was much better than it had been the previous couple of years.
I think it was M'ba, but it could have been someone else, had nothing but great things to say about Eason during his recruitment. It sounded like he was the main reason he signed with AU.
Oh well. Harsin better make a great hire for his replacement. Because he was one of, if not the best, position coaches on the staff. This one definitely hurts.

shite. He was actually one of the good recruiters on staff. Who we going to replace him with?

Why not? he didn't do very well after that national championship team, much like Chizik. I think O could work, but there are likely way better options

I think we'll get a good replacement lined up, even though this obviously sucks. Mason has a lot of good contacts. There are some names from our last go-around that can be tapped:
Kenechi Udeze - coached under Mason at Vanderbilt, currently assistant DL coach for the Titans in the NFL (was also DL coach at USC for a few years). He's a young guy and another former NFL player.
John Scott - his name came up last time as a candidate; he's the DL coach at Penn State and he has also been DL coach at South Carolina. He's had some recruiting success.

Have you not been paying attention? Coach O baby.
But seriously, go check Boise State's coaching staff, probably end up with whoever their DL coach is.

You joke but Boise's DL coach worked at Vandy when Mason was there.
