Let him cut his teeth on a lesser opponent and if he performs its his til he loses.

We have got to keep this recruiting class in tact and hope we dont lose the locker room to the portal after the season.

Could be a blessing in disguise. He could turn out to be our starter for the next couple of years and then roll into Walker White.

Otherwise we stumble to the end of the season with Thorne, have no experienced QBs in the room and have to go to the portal yet again....and lose all the QBs in the room to the portal along with the Freeze 4.

I don’t disagree purely from the “I am a fan and something needs to change perspective.”

I don’t think it happens though.

I think the tape will show that the OL, WR blocking and other factors were contributing to the disaster and PT will get a pass. That’s my gut feeling.

The film breakdown will show he's holding the ball too long. Aaron Murray pointed it out on at least 3 passing plays. How is a 5th year senior still doing that?

Now is definitely the time to switch. Freeze can’t throw Bocephus out there against Arkansas or Oklahoma without him getting an easy game under his belt first, even though he’d still probably do better than PT either way.

I understand there are other issues, so ask yourself.

If the other issues are not addressed what is the difference between Hank and Thorne playing? Those issues will exist whoever is at QB, and if Hank does not hold the ball and can read the field better......at least we have solved one of the issues.

The sad reality is that the coaches spend a lot more time with these guys. All practices are filmed with like 10 cameras.

Play design needs work and secondary recivers(especially RBs) need to do a better job of drawing a defender to them or finding green grass to give a target.

PT needs to show he is unafraid.

Fourth and 2 at midfield might should be a punt until we find more competence and confidence on offense. Oscar is a weapon.

A whole 3 passing plays. Have any of yall ever played QB. There’s a thousand things going on in a heartbeat. OL getting crushed, WRs loafs among a multitude of other things. It’s no easy. Especially in shite show we’ve been putting on the field over and over and over

I understand that Corch.

A lot of other issues to clean up, and you address them as well. But you can either throw up your hands, or get busy fixing them one at a time, and QB is a problem. If Hank turns out better, great, if he doesnt.....you are no worse off.

And you as a coach see the team just pep up a step when he does come in the game, the players believe something good will happen with him at the helm. You may find putting him in solves a lot of the other issues you brought up.

He needs snaps and this is the game to get them for him. On a personal note I don't think I can make it through another Thorne deer in the headlights performance with my tv intact

lets go with White, we sink or swim with the young stud like other programs do.

I know he is going to make mental mistakes but can it be any worse then 5 interceptions?

No I didn't play qb. I posted what a former college/ pro qb said in his breakdown of film. Didn't know that required me to play qb any where.

Surely you understand QBs are going to miss things from time to time. Three plays arent an incredible sample size.

How about 3 straight years of steady regression?

Need to get the next guys up some play time. Some dudes just turn everything on when they get in a game. Gotta give them a chance.

we have issues. One of the biggest is our QB still not being able to read a D or find a different option if the first is not available.. Seeing the field is a must for a QB. Lets find out if Hank is any better at it. IF he isn't, we need to spend big time in the portal...........at least we will know and not go into next season wondering. Thorne isn't "him". Trot Hank out the rest of the season. We probably aren't going bowling anyway.
