Yet I’ve never caught it
Same, and I’ve been working my positive patients in the hospital since we were told it arrived in the country. In the beginning, before we really knew anything about it and before we were prepared for it, we were working with positive patients with no PPE. Not even a mask. This was way before any kind of mask mandate.

ETA: I have not and will not take the vaccine at this time. I haven’t caught it yet despite all the time I’ve spent with them, and I’ll let my doses go to someone in need. Someone with comorbidities that really needs it.

Finally got my jon boat back. Damn thing runs like a top now. Plan on taking it hunting this weekend.

Running a lot. Took a promotion at work. Wife’s business finished up for the year which is a miracle considering everything the fed/state/local governments did to crush us.

My liberal, mask wearing kids have all had COVID. My wife and I haven’t had it. She sees thousands of people a week at work and we eat out at least twice a week. I’ll get the vaccine......... after we have five year’s worth of data. I’m O- as well. Never had the flu or flu vaccine.

I will not be doing any vaccines but i also don't do flu shots. More concerned about avoiding new taxes than a virus.

Had the flu sometime in middle school then went on a solid decade run of avoiding it. Then I got it 3 years in a row, 2 right before/during vacations

I’ve found this entire COVID situation to be an interesting study in politics and people. Normally principled, rational people have gone over the edge.

Then I lost smell and taste on Friday. Today I started getting that back and my other symptoms are gone as well.

I got it in late October, and still can’t taste or smell anything. Lately, when I do get a hint of something, it’s rancid. Dawn dish soap makes me gag for some reason (weird, I know), and things like coffee, which I usually love, has an unpleasant taste.

Have a friend that her and her husband both have it right now. She has said the same about coffee. Weird that it does that.

I agree. It is amazing how "radical" it made people. both ways. You have the people who believe everybody is going to die and we are all doomed and you have the "Its just like the flu", its all political people. The re did not seem to be many people in the middle. Which is where I was, seemingly all alone, the entire time.

I will be happy to get the vaccine when it is available to me. I have taken the flu vaccine for many years and it has worked well for me. I havent grown any new arms or legs at this point so I think it has been helpful

I think the virus would be minimal right now if people would have just taken basic precautions. It wasnt that difficult but we are humans and it come at a time where half the country wanted to fight the other half.

You’re not alone there. A lot of us are there. Unfortunately Our country has been taken over by doom and gloom media and social media which sets forth these rules for acceptable behavior. So people outwardly project this bullshite on facebook, insta, Twitter all in the hopes that others will see it and elevate their social media score. Politicians realize this and use it to seize power.

Remove social media from the equation and you’d see a lot more folks in the middle.

That sucks man. I wonder if there’s anything you can do to help you learn to smell again?

Wife's second pregnancy she lost her sense of smell for a while and it hasn't come back to normal in 27 years. It is diminished from where it was before pregnancy. She went in post delivery and had everything checked but they didn't find a problem...Weird
