We had our dusting last night, and now it's accumulating. Side roads were slick as hell this morning. Main ones weren't much better.

This. And get a weather radio! Mine went off last night and got us up to make sure we weren't in the path. You may not hear the tornado siren, but there's NO WAY you're sleeping through this weather radio going off.

Oh I got one and it went off simultaneously with the sirens.

Not that we actually need it lol. We're on top of a hill in Trussville and there's a siren within 100 yards of the back door to the south.

Damn shame but Alabama never really has an off season when it comes to twisters. We have peaks in the spring and late fall but January tornadoes aren't really rare.

Oh I know. Especially with how the seasons now literally just blend from Fall to Summer and back to Fall, it's ripe conditions for a 'nader year round.

Plus, Alabama is more of a Tornado hotbed than the midwest now.

It's practically still shorts weather.

That was one of the signs last night could be bad. I was in Northport for work and it was sunny, 75 and balmy with a light breeze. That's never a good thing in January.

Every second of every day. I have put offers in on two homes in Bradenton. Didnt get either. Over never IMG. We have our eyes on one that came through this weekend. We are considering putting a offer on it tomorrow.

Its going to happen very soon. We are so close.

Great to hear! IMG area can be a high cost. Have you looked up in NW Bradenton? Some newer homes some older. Take a look at Robinson's Preserve on a map. That is the area that I am talking about. It is a great neighborhood. Also Harbor hills near the bayou is also pretty good. Also, there are at least 3 places you can put in your boat all within about 10 minutes or less (depending upon what water you want to launch into)

We are looking in Legends Bay right now. We have looked all over Bradenton. I like that north west area but there are just no covenants over there. You can find a 500K neighborhood but you have to turn right at the abandoned refrigerator and left at the broke down Pontiac Fiero to get there.

We want something with a little more control around it.

We really like Harbor Isle but we finally decided that a town home was not for us. We want our own private pool and backyard so that omitted that. AMI is too expensive. Never going to be able to afford something there that is what we want for what we have.

Legends Bay area is looking really good right now.
