If it's anyone other than Steele then I'll cancel but first absolutely go after Phillip, Ron, and Nathan telling them they are idiots, if it's other way I'm going out like a church mouse

The committee isn’t making these decisions. They’re facilitating the process

Also, JG just confirmed they have offered Cristobal and he’s interested. Maybe we need to chill.

If the BOT would’ve kept their stupid mouths shut about whichever simpleton suggested Steele then they wouldn’t have to leak that they offered MC, just to quell the mob. This could’ve been a quiet week. And if it’s a smokescreen, then it failed badly.

Then we can hire him in a few years after Steele turns our program into "less."
He's about 18 months younger than Steele and is currently making $5 mil a year. I don't see him leaving SLC before retirement.

Maybe it's just about creating the perception (maybe the reality) that there are multiple irons in the fire so we don't look like we only want one guy and are willing to pay out the arse for him.

If Kiffin is a real possibility, we need to make it happen ASAP!

If not, Napier would be a good consolation prize.

It’s been pretty clear that we offered or at least contacted Cristobal for a while.

Part of the reason I don’t get the melt thinking it’s Steele

Definitely my top choices, though I'm fast approaching the "anybody but Steele" mentality.

I think the concern is that Steele is the fallback choice should things not work out with Cristobal.

How good would Freeze have been had he not cheated and gotten the players he got while at Ole Piss? Serious question

But all the insiders that say Steele are saying he’s the top candidate.

But we’re offering Cristobal? Doesn’t line up

Then throw out names like Napier, fleck, Campbell. Quite literally anyone other than Kevin Steele, but it appears our BOT is full of football simpletons

I thought I remembered reading they were 1a and 1b. To tell the truth, I could be wrong: it's hard to keep track of all the insider info.

The Cristobal ship has sailed lol. They have all but come out and said that he's signing that extension.

You will hear more coaches names pop up "wanting the job badly". We are going to get two handfuls of coaches raises before it's all said and done.
