I'm neutral on Clark. If he somehow could hire a good staff I could get behind him. Still think it's beyond stupid to pay 21 million to make that move but we are where we are.

From al.com : LINK

UAB head coach Bill Clark has emerged as a name to keep an eye on for the job.

Kevin Steele has not interviewed with the Auburn search committee, according to sources.

Auburn talked to Clemson defensive coordinator Brent Venables this morning but the expectation is Venables will stay at Clemson.

Auburn requested an interview with Alabama offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian and sources indicated that they expected him to interview on Sunday but Sarkisian ultimately declined the interview request.

How the frick is a guy who's never coached with anybody else going to assemble a "good staff". His staff would be heavily influenced by who the guys pulling the strings want to bring in - and we've already seen the results of that.

"Yeah it might work if he can hire an elite OC and elite recruiters." What a fricking joke. Bill Clark can't even out-recruit his Conference-USA competition.

If he is hired there needs to be a revolt. None of this "oh he's a solid coach lets support it" bullshite.

Wishful thinking perhaps but I choose to remain optimistic until the facts won't allow it

Take to twitter, fb, Instagram, email.. whatever you have to do. The stop Clark movement has to be bigger and pick up steam even faster than the stop Steele movement did. We stopped these fricks once and we can do it again. If the fans have the run the program from social media because the BoT and PTB are too stupid then so be it.

What's the point of stopping Clarke? No good coach will come here if they can't hire their own staff

Bc he reaches out to good coaches and interviews them? The way this shite always works. Yeah coaching networks are a thing but there’s no rule “oh I’ve never worked with you before? Nahh I’m out.”

Only time will tell how that will play out.

These points don’t correlate

Quit being a drama queen damn. There are things to like about Bill Clark. He’s built a program, sure he’s a defensive guy that hasn’t recruited well but he’s a human being capable of learning and growing. I would support this hire and for good reason. He’s a hell of a lot easier to support than that drunk coattail rider Sarkisian or Neal Brown.

Yep #StopSteele made auburn fans look passionate and intelligent #StopClark makes us look like asshats who will never be happy and will always be a pain in the arse to deal with on social media. Y’all need to chill the frick out before y’all ruin the only good reputation auburn has right now.

None... literally none.

Acting like children on the internet is only going to make things worse... I’m not saying don’t be mad... but don’t do shite that makes the next hire harder.

As many as it takes. He steered recruits away from Auburn when he was a HS coach and he can reap the rewards of it now. Bill Clark is a dud hire and we would have the worst coach and recruiting in the SEC sans Vandy, who doesn't count anyway.
