I have a hard time taking a twitter writer seriously that in their twitter bio line there is a typo.

“I want to be an Auburn bear {sic} writer...”

Well, I guess they’ll be about the same quality of Auburn “bear” writer that we are used to.

If only we could hire an out of state firm to hire a coach and pay them revue on the number of wins the coach gets while at Auburn.

Again, I’m just posting what is being said. This same info has come from multiple outlets. Auburn fans can choose to believe that it’s nonsense, but look how it’s all unfolding...and think back to the BP/TT scenario way back when.

There’s only one reason Auburn would hire Kevin Steele as HC and it’s all explained there.

well thats a fricking depressing sign

Looks like i will be cancelling my 2021 season tickets and dumping my annual donations....tickets i have had since the 90s. If Auburn goes this route, frick Auburn.

I'll just stick to golf and fishing.

If we hire Steele or Neal Brown I will box up all my Auburn shite and drop it at Goodwill, take down my diploma, and change my Georgia state tag from Auburn to the Atlanta Braves. I wont miss Auburn a bit, haven't watched a game from start to finish in 2 years

AUCE is still defending these board members as if they aren’t and haven’t been being highly influential regarding Gus and Leath. Once we drain the plains, AUCE and his shite discord must go too.

Couldn’t agree more. Everything will be replaced with Braves and Broncos stuff for me.

Who’s the “earth shattering” name that Auburn was surprised had mutual interest?

Couple things:

1. AU fans who don’t believe powerful boosters (and possibly Steele and Gardiner), have been manipulating the process for personal gains are delusional. AU is rotten with this shite (hello, Jetgate). Not saying to believe what random folks post on the Internet but a lot of what’s being said is coming from JGT and other writers who would know.
2. It pisses me off bc the sunshine pumpers will all get on board with a Steele hire, despite how fricked up this is and that he might have been going behind Gus’ back.

But weren't we just complaining that we fired Gus without having someone lined up? We bitch either way.

Are there really people supporting Steele being HC? I haven't seen one anywhere. I do see folks say they would retain him as DC, which is preposterous if any of the rumors are true.

Per the insider on Rivals board, Meyer was the surprised candidate with interest and backed out yesterday

Thanks

Not saying I'm completely sold on the rumor mill theatrics; however the more the Steele story unfolds the more our next coach needs to truly investigate any of the old staff... before retaining a possible cancer. Of course the guy may be another victim.
