What I said.

They both did well at smaller college jobs in Alabama

What you said.

to compare what Brown did at Troy to what Clark has done at UAB as ridiculous

Never compared them... Just said they both did well, which is true.

We're going to end up at Sonic if you keep coming at me unprovoked. Board Admins aren't immune to arse whoopings.

Gus' main problem was his refusal to recruit at a high level. I am not sure we know enough about Sark to say the same.

If Gus never sniffed the NC and only won 9 games during his best season after the team won 10 the year prior.

If Gus was fired as OC after the Offense regressed.

If Gus was fired as HC mid season.

It’s not that Gus didn’t recruit at a high level. He did, just not at the right positions. OL killed the offense. Many highly touted WR didn’t pan out. The QB position never got developed despite highly ranked recruits. TE isn’t utilized. But again, this offense was never going to succeed with the lack of OL talent.

Recruiting at a high level in the sense of proper roster management. 9 OL in 5 years is fireable. His rankings were inflated from WR/CB rankings, but linemen (DL/OL) was embarrassing

I’m hearing rumors of Clay Helton? Would we bring him home? His record looks a lot like Gus.

I’d like new sauces. I didn’t like that sauce.

Speaking of sauces, mine are saying that the uprising against Steele has the big money guys scared that they are going to get kicked out of their power positions. They have switched gears now, and they are throwing the bank at a certain former national championship winning coach...

LINK

Here’s a link to a pretty in depth interview on how much of a role that some of the BOTs are playing in this coaching “search”. It’s pretty eye opening.

Y’all’s boy Lane is about to get ran out of the stadium by a team Gus beat by 40.

His QB has more INTs than completions. (Not really, but 4 INTs is tough in one half)
